  1. Hello guys, I'd like to evolve my network because I'm not totally satisfied with how it is working. The actual layout is this : And I would like to have it somewhere near that : But before doing that, there are a few things I want to be sure about. First of all, I plan to build the pfsense by myself, I found a cheap i3 4350 with 4Go of RAM and I'm wondering if it is enough to run OpenVPN at 500Mpbs. Second thing, I have serious doubt that my VPN will be capable of giving 500Mbps through only one connection. So, since it provides me different server and I can connect to 3 of them simultaneously. Is it possible to run 3 OpenVPN instances and aggregate the 3 links together into only 1 ? Last but not least, on the new layout, I have created 2 different subnet but I'm not sure what is best between having 2 subnets or using VLANs. What do you think about it ? Hope you can help me and give me some advices TheMineGeek
  2. Thanks guys, I will test Vodafone
  3. Yes I'm from Europe but I looked carefully and only a small part of my data is useable in other countries so the best would be a Spanish operator
  4. Hi guys, I need help from people living in Spain. I will soon be in Spain for a month and I would like to have Internet without paying extra tax from my operator. The best solution seems to be 4G from a Spanish operator. The problem is that I don't speak a word of Spanish. Could you please recommend me some operators which are great? I will stay in Velilla-Taramay near Almunecar so if it could work good in that area Thanks, TheMineGeek

  8. Hi, I'm a beginner in electronic and in soldering. Actually, no big problems with electronic but soldering is a complete disaster. My wonder is : what do you use to go from one point to another on something like that : Link to image I've heard that guy speaking many times of "silver copper wire" but haven't been able to find it on sale. Hope you can understand what I want in that mess, sorry for my english, TheMineGeek
  9. Hi guys, I've started a few days ago to do my own sleeved cables. The two first went well but while doing the third, i broke a cable (cf attachment). I've to tried to pull back the connector but no way to do so. As anyone an idea of how I could take it back ? Once I will have finish. How can I test my cable to be sure they dont break my whole computer ? Is a voltmeter a good idea ? Thank you, TheMineGeek

  11. Hello, Since a few days, I'm getting random black screen. Computer keep running (keyboard leds on, fans on, ...) but screens are totally blacks. One is plugged through HDMI and the other one through DVI. I've dig a bit on internet and it looks like a driver / gpu problem but I'd would like to know how I can be sure that it's that. GPU isn't hot (40°C). My config : Asus Z170 A i5 6600k MSI R9 280X Hoping you can help me, TheMineGeek

  13. So after, a bit of research, I listened to tcp paquets (445/tcp) from my computer to see what could be wrong et compared with my laptop for which it's working well. The major difference that i spotted is that after my laptop send his smb request, he gets an answer and then switch to smb2 protocol but my desktop doesn't do. He send negotiation paquet, receive answer and then nothing ... I tried activating / deactivating smb2 to make the service restart but it didn't change anything If anyone has an idea, I would take it. If none has, could you help me to know were I can ask that question ? PS: I didn't try to reset my computer and I'd like as much as possible to don't have to PS2: On my laptop, I tried to reach samba with wifi and using the same internet cable as my desktop and both worked
