  1. Hi Everyone, Since we're in the mist of Holiday sells I was wondering if any of you can help me with recommendations or suggestions on what to upgrade on my current build. Below are the parts. I think i'm good with the GPU, Power Supply and Hard drives so I would want to get suggestions for Case, Ram, Motherboard and CPU (and it's cooler). I currently play games on a 1080p monitor (looking on getting 1440p in the future) and I also like playing strategy games that are CPU intensive. As for the budget, maybe an upgrade that costs no more than $500? Please let me know and thank you all for helping. CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 LGA 1150 Case: Cooler Master Elite 430 - Mid Tower Computer Case with All-Black Interior and Windowed Side Panel SSD 1: SAMSUNG 840 EVO 120GB SSD 2: SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500GB HDD: WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 DirectX 12 GTX 1080 DUKE 8G OC 8GB Power Supply: CORSAIR TX-M Series TX650M
  2. Hey guys! So something happened and i'm not able to fully upgrade my pc based on your answers. As of now i'm only able to upgrade my gpu and power supply. In the future I will be upgrading the remainder parts but it'll have to be on hold or now. For the power supply i decided to listen to @Jurrunio's recommendation and got the Corsair - TXM Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply. He has mentioned that my current power supply isn't that good of a unit which is not the first time that I hear that so I went ahead and upgraded that part. For the gpu I went ahead and got the MSI GTX 1080 Duke 8G recommended by @EarthWormJM2. I know that some of you suggested a GTX 1070 or 1060 but i'm thinking of being prepared for the future so i decided to pick this baby up. I was tempted to go for a Gigabyte brand but after checking the reviews for this product I decided to stick with EarthWorm's suggestion. I want to thank everyone for helping me out. Once I'm ready to upgrade I will this post (or maybe create a new one if i forget).
  3. It's a PanelCooler Master Elite 430 - Mid Tower Computer Case with All-Black Interior and Windowed Side Panel
  4. Hey! I use it exclusively for gaming. I placed a big budget because I know that the prices have gone up. If the recommendations that people give me gives me some room then I might upgrade everything else.
  5. Yeah, maybe i'll just get the replacement parts so that my 1080p experience gets enhanced and maybe later down the road i get a 1440p monitor
  6. If i were to get a GTX 1080 which would be a good one? I see they have from many brands. My Gigabyte gpu has been loyal to me all these years so many i should get the GTX 1080 version?
  7. Hey man sorry about not puting the budget. I just edit the post. the budget is 1500. My ram is DDR3 so i would have to replace that.

  10. Hi Everyone, I made a post about this back in 2017 but now I'm actually ready to upgrade my baby pc. I'm not really good in checking these things so i wanted your guys input. Below are the parts. Please let me know what would be good to replace. I would preferably like to play this on 1440p in 60fps and because of that I would also like to ask if there's any good 1440p monitors that aren't too expensive and are good.
