  1. I'm currently running on my 4690k on a Asrock z97 Pro4 I have 2 4gb crucial ballistix sport ddr3 running at 1600 I believe the timings on the Crucial sticks should be 9-9-9-24 and its voltage should be 1.5V I know I probably shouldn't mix rams, but amazon doesn't sell the kit anymore so i think this patriot kit should do https://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Viper-1600MHz-Channel-PV38G160C9K/dp/B008LTJJM2/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1549328019&sr=1-7&keywords=ddr3+ram#customerReviews Any thoughts or recommendations or other kits that would most likely work that are reasonably priced on amazon? Thanks
  2. Should i put it on or off? Anyone think its worth keeping on/off? Just got my pair yesterday
  3. I got a laptop less than a year ago, and it started having BSODs and booting into the bios where the SSD isn't detected. 99% sure that it is an SSD issue where some of the nand flash is probably faulty. I have an rma# from asus. Other than filling out the rma checklist, do I need to include the warranty card from the box, the a/c adapter, or any accessories that came with it? This is my first time handling an asus rma. If anyone has done it before, then can you tell me how smoothly it went, and the amount of time they take to process? Thanks
  4. Just making sure, are you plugging your display cable into the gpu and not the motherboard, and try a different cable, you can get defective cables sometimes
  5. I have an Asus UX430 with a 8550u and a mx150. It is pretty thin so I would understand the temperatures to be slightly higher, but I did not expect the idle temps to be around 60 degrees Celsius. Whenever I have any single threaded task, the one core always shoots up to 97 degrees and sometimes under multi threaded applications, it will hit above 95 on all 4 cores. I've had a few BSOD with error code of system_service_exception. I updated the graphics driver and testing right now, and I have not gotten it again yet. Just wondering if anyone knows if these temps and bsods are normal or not.
  6. ok thanks everyone, so ill use them without surround!
  7. 1050 ti i really don't play really heavy graphical games btw and also like normal day tasks as well, should i have surround on?
  8. Have 2 1080p monitors, should I?
  9. Thoughts on which one is better? Would like to know battery life and other features in comparison. Anyone own any of these 2? Thanks!
  10. oh, i kind of skim them, and don't really pay attenetion, my bad
  11. Do you already have a z97 mobo?
  12. I'd grab the 1060 6gb VRAM should be enough for almost everything
  13. get the i5 6600k instead. New archeticture, ddr4 support, and newer feature set http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561
