  1. Thanks for your help. It's getting kinda late now tbh in my area. I'll try that tommorow or when I am free.
  2. I've just saw your edit. Thanks for the explanation. So that might be the first part of the problem.
  3. There's one tiny problem. My SSD can't be read in the bios when there isn't a Windows install on it for some reason. So if I take my HDD out now. I fear something might happen.
  4. Greetings, As stated in the title above, I have some problems atm, it's actually been quite a while tbh. I'm using a laptop that came with a 1TB HDD and 2 partitions. Since this laptop came with a free m.2 SSD slot, I decided to buy a 256GB m.2 SSD. This is what I did that day, 1. I backup'ed everything that is on my HDD on both partitions into an external HDD. 2. I installed the SSD and installed Windows 3. From Disk management, (SSD OS) I merged the partitions and deleted and formatted and created a new simple disk 4. Realized I messed up, the OS in the SSD won't boot up or even show in bios 5. installed OS in HDD 6. from there installed os in SSD 7. (I am here now). How am I supposed to format and remove Windows from the HDD without going back to no 4. And yes. I have searched the forums and on the internet, Maybe I have not searched enough. But most of them were saying that U can use easeus and some 3rd party options. I have not looked into them atm. Any input will be greatly appreciated, Thank you. Ps. I have no idea if I'm supposed to be posting this under Storage device or Operating systems. Sorry if I may have posted in the wrong sub-forum Some images that might or might not help Edit 1 This is the SSD that I am using Kingston A400
  5. Good day, I would like to ask if this M.2 SSD will work for the MSI PE70 2QE This laptop is going towards 5years old and I would like to insert an M.2 drive in it. The specifications and the manual of this notebook don't state if it's NVME based or SATA based. The SSD that I'm going for is SATA based. I also checked through the MSI Forums and found some posts about it saying it's SATA only. Some questions regarding 1. When prying open the laptop. I've seen some people using gift cards and sort. what would a newbie like me use? 2. Will the screw be given in the laptop or with the drive itself? I've seen some MSI laptops with the screw pre-inserted in the laptop and it's been left there. But I'm not too sure 3. If the screw isn't given or it's not there.,, where can I get the screw from? Can any old screw work? Thank you for your time Edit 1 I've just spoken with the store owner and they said the screw is not given in the package.
  6. Ah.. Okay then, Thanks. If you were in my situation right now, Would u get this mouse rn or lke wait for a newer ver to come out? Sorry for asking too many questions btw/
  7. Thanks for your reply. I would like to ask if you have carrying case for it? And how is the durability of it?
  8. Good Afternoon, I would like to ask if it's worth it to get the MX master 2S currently, or should I wait for a new one to come out. My dilemma right now is like, I'm trying to find a mouse that I could use long term. I'm now using a Free Dell mouse that came with my laptop and an Armeggedon one as well. (Also free . lol) I know that the MX Anywhere 2S is better in terms of portability but like I feel like it isn't worth it. (Change my mind if u would) My questions are. 1. Is it worth it to get the MX master 2S now? (Or should I wait for an updated ver to come out) 2. Is there any other alternative mouse that you would recommend that it's not to attractive (rgb, bold colour scheme, etc) 3. How does it handle day - day task. 4. Do you have a carrying case for any of the portable mouse that you carry? I've looked through a quick search of the forum for this mouse, but most of the topics are on gaming. If I were to get this mouse, I would be bringing it in my bag everyday. Thank you for reading, Your inputs would be helpful. :D
  9. Hello, Just as the title states Is it worth it to get an Nvidia Shield rn ad the last version that was released is in 2017. The first modal is in 2015. Ik comparing this 2 might be weird But it would be a really sad choice if I bought something that was going to get refreshed next year <2019> I'm comparing with the Mi Box S because of it's price. But it seems to have some issues. If I take the Nvidia Shield, I was hoping to use it for like years to come if that's possible. Edit 1: the Nvidia shield is on sale rn till 25th that's why Thank you for reading, need your opinions
  10. Hello to those who reads this, this is a continuous post from This Post for now I'm actually looking at this modal Gl.Inet Slate There isn't a lot of reviews out there so i'm just wondering if anyone owns this and are there any pointers that i should look out for when buying this modal? I've checked through the internet and Through the forums as well . The only thing that is a disadvantage from what i can see here is the USB 2.0 port. But since it has Openvpn support i can be sure that it will work with Windscribe. Thanks in advanced
  11. Ah, the one that u gave me doesn't have 5Ghz support. but thanks for the recommendation. I will also use it to host a ftp server from my phone using 5Ghz with ES File manager, Truthfully, it's faster than transferring by cable. lol. I'll check out the other products also. But I won't be sure if i can find them here. I'm based in Malaysia but would travel to SG to find one if it's cheaper Ohh, Okay, I get what you mean. ah ok then thanks Ohh, I think I get it now, Thanks for everything,
  12. Hello to everyone who reads this, So, I'm in kinda of a dilemma rn and I've a few questions to ask about it I'm looking at this model rn TP-LINK WR902AC Questions This is just some info for me to remind myself as well. Someone can correct me if I mistype anything (Thanks in advance) So, here's the thing, I might be getting one of this as I might be travelling for a few weeks if everything goes according to plan. The main problem is in the question above. And if there's any other recommendation for a portable router it'll be greatly appreciated. Thank you Btw When I'm not travelling, I intend to use this as an access point at my house Now I'm using a powerline cable to a Router (the free one that came with the ISP a longggg time ago) which is not that great Is there anything else i should be concerned about when getting a travel Router for both Travel/work and can anyone give me their experience if they use one. And offtopic would u rather get something like This or This while travelling Thank you Have a great day
