  1. Thank you for convincing me to go the i5 route, it's much better in benchmarks
  2. Could you link the i5 i cant find one in stock.
  3. It's completely understandable. And at this point I am very likely to stick with the i5 and just wait. I might even buy a z370 because Christmas and my birthday is near.
  4. Certainly not Canadian dollars getting me all that under 350.
  5. Also overclocking the r5 1600 will bring up its single threaded performance.
  6. What about I am, but at the same time at this very minute i could order a r5 1600, 8gb ddr4 and a msi b350m for exactly 499 all new parts.....and thats after tax and shipping.
  7. Thank you, im sure to check it out.
  8. I've explored that option, but i really like the fps that the i5 is bringing.
  9. Also I'm considering waiting til 2018 for non z370 mobo's. But i don't want to wait and then have it be middle may and im still wating for non z370's
  10. Current Specs: AMD A10-7850k GTX 1050ti 8gb ddr3 500w EVGA B1 What i currently do, League of Legends with a second monitor beside me running a bunch or tabs, maybe a youtube vid as well, discord as well with friends, spotify etc. GTA 5 with nothing in the background because my cpu is really bottlenecking. H1z1 with nothing in the background except for discord A little photoshop A little homework I want 60fps-ish give or take in titles like GTA with background tasks. What i can afford? Well lets just say 500ish before tax CANADIAN DOLLARS!!!!!! That includes mobo and 8gb ddr4. I've been thinking.... R5 1600, I5 8400 other ryzen cpu's etc. CPU recommendations commence!
  11. Hey, so i've had my GTX 1050ti Zotac Mini edition for a good 6 months. I've never had a problem at all with it, and i would hardly call this a problem now. I decided to benchmark the gpu since i recently overclocked my cpu. So i booted up Heaven benchmark and popped up GPU-Z on my second monitor. All was fine till the benchmark started. Core clock went from 1303mhz to 1721mhz! My boost is set to something like 1450mhz. Now that i look at it more its going up to 1721 in every game. Memory isnt going up but core clock is. So the main question is why, how can i stop this and should i stop this. Note: I've never even attempted to overclock the gpu.
  12. I've been having a lot of problems with BSOD crashes (clock watchdog timeout) (whea uncorrectable error) since i overclocked my cpu. I would run aida64 for a good few hours. no crashes I would then play GTA for 20 minutes and boom crash and burn. All of a sudden now, Aida64 is constantly giving me hardware fails. Now i reset bios to defaults all across the board and aida64 is still failing. Have i screwed up my cpu? Is it windows? AMD A10-7850k 3.7ghz stock overclocked ranged from 4.0-4.3ghz. Voltage was weird (default 1.4) i set offset to 1.45, but then it would run at 1.5, im no offset volt genius but that seems high and i dont know about offset so should it go higher than set? 8gb ram 1050ti asus xm88-plus 1tb hdd 500w evga b1 psu windows 10. Im going to be out for a few minutes after posting this but i will be back.
  13. Thanks, a bit confusing but i get the message.
  14. So just a quick voltage question, im overclocked to 4.3ghz, its been stable so far. The voltage under load is 1.488v (Somewhat high from what i've read, but anything lower seems to cause instability) the idle voltage is 1.48v. That's just a little backstory, but my question is about offset voltage. I set it too 1.4625v (something like that definitely 1.46**) so why is it running at 1.48? Obviously im not too good with this stuff, but the only option is offset, no manual or anything like that. Any explanation or help is appreciated FULL SPECS: AMD A10-7850k stock 3.7ghz (oc'd to 4.3ghz) A88xm plus Asus Motherboard 1600mhz ram 8gb 1tb hdd gtx 1050ti zotac mini evga b1 500w
