  1. I have a 3 monitor setup the main monitor I use is an Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmooprx 27 inch 1440 p monitor The monitor likes to black screen randomly during gaming for up to 3 seconds! It will do this consistently in demanding games and somewhat frequently in less demanding games my Graphics card is an evga 1070 card when monitor is black screened i cant go into the monitors settings Things that I have done to "fix" The issue Replaced the display port cable with a brand new cable turn off sleep timers on my computer insured my computer is in performance mode update graphics drivers reinstall graphics drivers reinstalled graphics drivers again Deleted all graphics drivers and reinstalled plug the display port cable into different ports on my graphics card Currently attempting to borrow a friends card and see if the issue persists At this point I think its either my monitor or my graphics card. Its such a strange issues. Hoping to see if any of you had a similar issue and found a solution
  2. it doesn't support it I guess im buying a new motherboard
  3. I have a 6700k i7 and a 1070 gpu. my motherboard is a b150 gaming m3 (ms-7978) with the latest bios update installed as of today I cant seem to boot windows from my m.2 drive. (WD Blue SN550 1TB NVMe Internal SSD) when I go to board explorer it shows there is nothing plugged into the m.2 port The following are my mobo settings for boot. Full Screen Logo Display [Disabled] GO2BIOS [disabed] Bootup numlock state [on] Info Block Effect [unlock] Post Beep [Enabled] AUTO CLR_CMOS [Disabled] Boot Mode Select [uefi] my two hard drives and my ssd are unplugged via the sata port however still have power going to them. it does not show a boot device i can select unless i have the flashdrive with windows plugged in. I am completely lost and I don't know what to do
  4. I am trying to find the best program to be able to show multiple devices on to one computer screen through a network. I want to be able to project multiple computer/phones to one single screen that is being projected through a projector that is obviously hooked up to a computer. This would allow me to be able to show multiple different creations that one single group has created in my class room. One of the programs that I have found is http://www.airsquirrels.com/airparrot/. This program looks like it would do the job but, I would like to see other options if there is any to make sure I am getting the best program for my money.
  5. interesting... Im going to making it so it does not automatically set its priority to high like I have it set doing at the moment. Perhaps that may help
  6. Does not make to much sense to me. From what I know the 8350 should be able to handle it
  7. So about a week ago I was able to record game play and have nothing wrong with it at all, but now when I load up a simple game such as CS:GO I use upwards of 70% of my cpu and completely maxed out when recording. I had my cpu clock speed clocked at 4.1. So i decided to put it back to its normal state. (4.0 base with 4.2 boost.) Keep in mind my cpu stay's around 50c. After this there was no difference at all to my game play. So I decided to try over clocking it to 4.5 ghz. I found that i was only using 60% to 65 but i was still maxing out while recording (my temps stayed below 60c during this testing). Currently i have it clocked at its original presets. I honestly have no clue what to do.
  8. Stress test your own cpu. If your computer turns off while stressing it (thats if it has enough power draw) This should indicate that your psu is not giving enough power since there is a likely chance that it is failing you. I Highly dought it being your GPU or motherboard
  9. Ok while you are doing that you may wanna try to stress test the cpu that you are using. By doing that you can put stress on the psu to see if that is the problem. I would recomend using prime 95 to stress it.
  10. Also make sure that your moniter is plugged into your graphics card and not the motherboard.
  11. From what I can see is that your psu should be able to easily run your system. Would you be able to use another graphics card to see if that works?
  12. What power supply What psu do you have? It seems if your psu is not giving enough power. Could I have all of your pc specs?
  13. So I went into my bios and i saw the feature that the video was talking about. It showed it automatically detecting cores. by surprise when I hit manual and surprisingly all the cores were detected and showed that they were enabled. So by no surprise when i rebooted the system my task manger still only sees 4 cores. Thanks tho again for attempting to help but i really thing i should use AMD 3 year warranty
  14. So the thermal paste is only a month old because I recently got a after market cooler but, I think I found the issue. Task manger is telling me I only have 2 cores and 4 logical cores. So I think you are right about it being a defective chip. Thanks for the help by the way
  15. So I saw a video on two 480's in crossfire and I noticed the 480's doing better then the 1070 but, the 480's cost more. I just wanted to see some peoples opinions on this subject as i was considering to upgrade. My current gpu is a r9 380 (Power is not an issue as I will buy the power supply for what choice I choose) Please try to keep your opinions as unbiased as possible since both company make quality products <3.
