My cat recently knocked over my monitor and it landed on my keyboard and it created a small pressure mark. I constantly notice it and was wondering if there is any way to fix it without tearing the monitor apart. any help or suggestions are appreciated

I recently purchased a VGA to display port adapter for an old dell E153FPf monitor to connect it to my gtx 1070. Everything was fine until the monitor started randomly falling asleep. Windows still says that the monitor is connected and working. I tried uping the amount of voltage my GPU has access too and made sure that all my power plan settings said to never sleep. any advise or help is welcome.

i have a gigabyte board where do you think that setting would be located in the bios

i guess if i must i shall purchase a cable

its cable or eat

do you know if drivers are a factor in this problem.

i am in college and they would most likely say buy it yourself.

i do not i have just spent all my money my new system.
