  1. Hi, The software for the Logitech G27 is unable to open for some reason, and says that it is unable to find the program. I have tried uninstalling the program numerous times to no avail. I'm running Windows 10, it has had no problems before while I was running Windows 8.1. Any suggestions would be great.
  2. do you mean taking off the red part of the switch?
  3. My Quickfire Pro MX Red's spacebar suddenly stopped working. I've tried different devices, USB ports and eliminate some dust from under the key but to no success. The warranty has already expired and I'm pretty sure the store (Mwave AU) would replace it for me.. Do you guys have any suggestions?
  4. I'm not a fan of the Corsair headsets and their reviews aren't too hot.. I'll see if I can get the M30x + Snowball then.
  5. Yeah I reckon headphone quality > microphone quality to me, the G230's mic is actually quite alright, but I'm looking for better sound in my next purchase. Is there anything in between the Cloud 2 and GAME ONE/ZEROs?
  6. Do you think this kind of setup is worth it, because I only plan on using it for gaming, Skype and not really for voice recording, but I really do love listening to my music. Or do you think a headset like the HyperX Cloud 2 would be okay?
  7. https://www.storedj.com.au/products/AUD-ATHM30X?gclid=CjwKEAiApYGyBRC-g_jIstuduV8SJABCEzhZFBe4kGywDIFLN1T_mhRxNryzpmIpI-32UIgkeH1JEBoCnT_w_wcB 99$ seems do-able, but i was wondering if you can attach the Modmic onto say the tower and not the headphones?
  8. The ModMic is $70 + $12 shipping for the muteless version, so it isn't that cheap to get... Also what would be a quality set of headphones w/o the mic for $100?
  9. Would this be better than investing in headphones and microphone separately?
  10. Hey guys, So I currently have a Logitech G230 which is alright, but is starting to act up after 2 years, so I'm looking around for a new headphones + mic. It doesn't necessarily have to be a headset, but I'm just wondering if having them both separate would be a good idea or better in terms of audio/mic quality. I'm planning to spend around 200AUD for both but I've got no idea what is best for that price.
  11. Yeah I bought it September 2013, so it's 1 month away from the warranty ending. I'll probably RMA it next week.
  12. Yep that's right, unless the auto-fan setting ramps the fans to at least 91%, it's only 1 fan spinning
  13. Hi, I have a Sapphire 7950 Boost (http://img.videocardz.com/1/2013/02/Sapphire-HD-7950-Boost-3GB-3-1200x870.jpg) that is nearly two years old, and I now notice that the left fan (near the ports) is not spinning. It only starts spinning when the fans are set above 90%. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what is the problem? I don't know how to lubricate it nor have the materials to, so would sending it back to the seller to get it sorted out be the best option? Thanks
  14. I'll just drop my internet stats here too. ADSL Type Interleave Path Status Show Time Downstream Upstream Data Rate (kbps) 6763 1020 Noise Margin (dB) 3.5 9.9 Attenuation (dB) 39.2 20.0 Output power(dbm) 20.0 12.6
  15. A rumpus is like an upstairs lounge, maybe an Aussie term The telephone line is located in the study though, and the only other line is at the kitchen or the master bedroom. Running hardlines require me to drill through walls and I don't want to get into that kind of mess. Yeah my telephone line is at the study, and really be wired across the hallway to a more central location
  16. Hi, I'm a complete novice with networking, also with terrible internet in my area (~6mbps down), and I'm looking for some basics that will help the coverage and speed around my home. Currently we use a Belkin N600 Modem/Router combo, and no wired connections anywhere with every device connected via WiFi. I have attached a house floor plan made on paint (shoddy job sorry but it should get the job done). The modem router is located in the study. The lounge on the other side, and the upstairs bathroom onwards have a massive drop in connectivity. Do you guys have any solutions to improve it?
  17. Hi, My QuickFire Pro used to have no problems when using the media keys to play, pause and skip songs. However, these F keys no longer work the way they should, and now act as a home key (eg. sends me back to the homepage for Spotify, Chrome, etc.) Any solutions?
  18. So I purchased a Sandisk Ultra II and it arrived today. But after I plug in the SATA and power cables, nothing is showing up. I don't see anything in the BIOS or the Disk Manager, but only on the Sandisk SSD Dashboard. Help
  19. So I've been looking for an affordable yet speedy SSD, and I have come across this rather newly released SSD, the Sandisk Ultra II SSD: http://www.sandisk.com/products/ssd/sata/ultra-ii/ Any thoughts on it? It's cheaper than anything similar in storage (Crucial, Samsung, Kingston, the likes), and it seems fast and some nice extras.
  20. My Storm Scout II is wonderful. I personally don't think it's flashy, it's got some LEDs and that's about it. It's not as elegant as some others, but I'm fine with that. Saying that CM cases aren't 'real' is a very subjective opinion.
  21. I updated to Windows 8.1 nearly 4 months ago. Didn't regret it at all.
  22. XFX is known to have a poor track record in the warranty/RMA category, and not to mention that their Double Dissipation cooler is sub-par compared to the other R9 290s. Gigabyte, MSI and Sapphire are my choices. http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/Sapphire+Radeon+R9+290+Tri-X+OC+4096MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+%2B+3+FREE+GAMES%21%21+?productId=59704 It's cheaper than the XFX, and is a better cooler. Go figure
  23. I reckon it's too close for comfort. The CX600M is a low-end model anyway, and doesn't even have that many 6-pin connectors (4) to accommodate 2 R9 270Xs. Get something like a Seasonic G 650W, or a Corsair RM650 will do nicely.
  24. Seasonic is one of the most trusted (if not THE most) PSU brands today. Their PSUs have rock solid reliability, excellent efficiency and they're nice and quiet. They might be a little bit pricey, but you won't regret it.
