  1. okay sweet, i've only got a 1080p 144Hz monitor right now but may look into upgrading to 2k eventually. Since you mentioned there's always some form of bottleneck, will the bottleneck be noticeable enough that I should consider upgrading other parts of my PC as well?
  2. Currently running a 2060 Super with my i5 9600KF and looking to upgrade to a 3060TI, just wondering if there will be any bottlenecks in my system or if everything will run smoothly 8^) any help is appreciated. FULL SPECS - - Intel Core i5 9600KF 6 Core - Asus TUF Z390M Pro Gaming mATX Motherboard - Asus GeForce RTX 2060 Super ROG Strix Gaming 8G <-------(Current GPU, looking to upgrade to a 3060TI though) - Corsair Vengeance 750W 80 + Silver PSU - Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 DDR4 RAM
  3. I have a 120gb Kingston SSD and a Western Digital 1Tb. Out of nowhere I went from around 80gb of space on my SSD down to just 9gb. I disabled Hibernation in CMD which freed about 3-4 gb's, and even after resetting the PC ( I chose the option to keep my personal files but remove apps and stuff), the SSD is still filled up. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? any help would be appreciated!
  4. Friend asked me recently about computers and I wanna help him with a build. He needs it to be under $1000 AUD if possible and able to run things like Rising Storm 2 Vietnam and Pubg low settings.
  5. even when i have chrome close it can go as high as 40%
  6. i can show it in resource monitor as well if you need
  7. Not sure if this is the right place to be asking this but I recently did a fresh install of windows 10 on my PC and my memory usage has been staying in the 25-40 percent ranges and sometimes going as high as 50 percent. I believe when reinstalling windows 10, it gave me the most recent and updated version (im not sure what it is though). ALSO, I have 8GB's of RAM with an i5-6600.
  8. I think the one I want to get needs an 8 pin connector but i only have a six and a 2 pin connector, can i use both to power the card or do in need some sort of adapter?
  9. So is that taking into account the power draw from the other components aswell?
  10. Specs: -GTX 960 4GB (Asus) (Upgrading to Asus GTX 1060) - Asrock H170/Pro4 Hyper motherboard -8GB Ram -Intel i-5 6600k 3.30 GHz - Corsair VS550 PSU -120 GB SSD Just need to know whether i can safely upgrade to the 1060. Also, I think the 1060 needs an 8 pin connector but i only have a 6 and a 2 pin, can i use the 6 and 2?
  11. will my 8GB ram be alright for Dishonoured 2?
  12. Seeing as I won't be gaming at 1440p and the 1070 is 300 dollars more, what should I do? (
  13. So no it won't bottleneck? or no I won't have enough power?
  14. So i've been thinking about getting a GTX 1060 6GB and just need to know whether my parts will bottleneck the 1060 and if my PSU will supply enough power and safely. Specs: - Asus GTX 960 4GB -8GB RAM - Intel i-5 6600 3.30 GHz -Corsair VS550 PSU Also, if anyone knows a good place I can sell my 960 and how much it would go for? (AUD)
  15. Hi there, I was just wondering if you could maybe setup a build that offers the same performance that I would be able to put a 480 in within the next couple of months (still keeping windows in it though).
