  1. definately will try when i get home then. luckily i have no overclocked settings or custom bios of any kind.
  2. no. should i do that? its the small battery i just remove it and wait a moment and reinsert it?
  3. There are two cords that i keep connected two dvi types one is to dvi to the main monitor and another is to hdmi to a television set the dvi to hdmi and main monitor works so i know those all work
  4. sadly no i don't have spare ram or GPU and the motherboard doesn't have integrated graphics
  5. yesterday night i decided to clean my desk area due to the growing number of pests in my room. I cleaned off my desk moving my console tv monitors and desktop off the desk wiped it clean sprayed to medicine and replaced everything back to its place. but now the computer wont boot. it starts up all the fans run and the graphics card runs but it makes not beeping noise and displays no video. i already tried reseating the video card and memory and removing and inserting all the wires again. i did a little more reaseach online and some website says to remove the CPU and re insert it as it could have became lose. anyone else have any advise or fixes for me?
  6. awesome ill be sure to check it out thanks!
  7. yea google cardboard works fine if your phone supports hmm thanks for the info! im glad ill be only needing to replace the graphics card ill look into some SSD maybe you have a recommended one?
  8. hey there is this application called riftcat on pc and is companion vridge on android that i tested with a unity demo works decent on my current build so i wanted to upgrade this build to play some better vr games then eventually get a vive
  9. i want to build a budget vr machine. i have a build already but i don't know what needs to be upgraded or tossed out. im using an amd card so hopefully that can somehow be implemented into the machine if i can keep it or end up changing it out. here's a reference of a budget build from a website (http://www.digitaltrends.com/virtual-reality/how-to-build-a-cheap-vr-ready-pc/) (also screenshot) Here's what i have *note: i only have 1 stick of 8gb ram from the two shown one was DOA. i know the graphics card wont do and i plan on getting that radeon rx 480 as listed in the reference. what im asking here is guidance. should i get a new processor and motherboard? should i do away with the entire set and start a new(would rather not and save the money)? should i go for the i5 and motherboard shown in reference or can i do way with a cheaper but par processor like mine?
  10. hmm i guess ill try and make a restore point before hand
  11. nono its not windows 7 thats just what the back up feature is called on windows 10 and the os isnt the problem its getting all my data thats purly backed up on another drive to my laptop basicly copying onto it an old version of my laptop before it wassent in for repairs
  12. well i sent my laptop in for repairs and backup my data before hand. my laptop returned it workd now by the HDD was replaced so i did my upgrade to windows 10 and everything but now i want to resore my backed up files into the laptop. it wont let me or read that the HDD has files in it but itll let me start backing up file into it. should i just copy the files over is a mass copy or is there something im missing in the back up and restore(windows 7) feature on windows 10?
  13. maybe you can help me find something with a little more memory like 32+GB of storage so the kids can put movies and stuff on them
  14. would that be the only viable option? i would like them to be able to run skype tho i heard that chromebooks dont use skype
  15. OK so here's the plan. I live in a home with my mom atm and no one uses cable so we either plan to disconnect it or wait till the contract is up. but in the meantime we want to get ready for that day and get small laptops for the kids so they aren't bored out of their minds at home. i was hoping someone who knows a little more at this could help. my budget is 400$ total so 200$ per kid for 2 kids. in my mind i was thinking small computer the size of a sheet of paper or if willing anything with an HDMI so i can hand them cords so they can plug them into the tv's in their room and watch youtube or movies or whatever. anyone think they can help? if anything maybe some small customization ones too you know like different colors and such. edit: if possible avaliable through amazon so its easier for me to ship in(using prime and all that)
