If you want actual numbers well the 970 sc acs 2.0 boost clock is 1178mhz okay? If you OC to a very reasonable 1500mhz thats a 27% increase in clock = 27% increase in performance. Someone should try that 1500mhz 970 with a whats the max 480s are getting 1300mhz? LOL

False, their performance does infact decrease with newer drivers. Many people choose to download older drivers for better performance on the 780ti and 780 cards.

Actually i take what i said back OC'd 980ti is BETTER than an Oc'd 1070... hmm wow. I was wrong. I thought 1070 was faster. Its not. 2050mhz 1070 vs 1452mhz 980ti... 980ti gets 5-7fps better. BUT KNOWING NVIDIA THE 980TI IS GONNA BE GIMPED/

WHAT are you talking about?! 980ti does not beat the 1070 when OC'd it matches the 1070 at stock then when 1070 is oc'd its about 15% faster than 980ti please stop spouting bs.

God why are people so dumb? If you want to get power and are considering the 980ti WHY THE HELL NOT GET A GTX 1070 ITS better AND CHEAPER. No questions asked nothing to think about here. Why even touch an older gen when new is cheaper and better? LOGIC???

Basically ive lost all hope in the 480, i saw all the tests they were 100% legit, whether the performance will increase with driver updates is the only thing to see and wait for otherwise those benchmarks with high/ultra were VERY DISSAPOINTING. Since my gtx 970 gets better fps on all ultra no hairworks... pathetic why would i downgrade when upgrading
