Hey guys, So today I bought this outdoor AP https://www.alfa.com.tw/products_show.php?pc=28&ps=115 ,and stupid thought that it cant be that hard to set it up and run. So I need help with this , Which operation should I use between AP Bridge,Client Router and Client Bridge? My idea is to connect the Alfa AP to my primary router inside the house to provide connection a house across the street (about 100 meter) Heres a pic of the setup page of the router - I tried the AP Client mode and I need to fill in the DHCP Mode Hostname, Primary DNS and Secondary (Optional) and default gateway ? I am a total noob and doesn't know what to enter in. I am very sorry if you guys cannot answer my question,and please do ask me anything . Hi,recently my gtx 970 started to blackscreen after around 30 min ingame of dota2.The whole pc stuck and I need to reboot it through hard reset.I uninstalled the gpu driver using ddu and installed the previous stable gpu from nvidia but its still happening.I got no problem running it with r7 240 and right now Im out of idea.The card is already out of warranty and is there any possible fix ? I would if I had the money to , but Im currently limited to that .. I actually wanted to install the AP in another my brother's house, he is not a heavy use and only uses about 2 mobile and a laptop for browsing.Currently he got very unreliable connection (one bar and disconnection constantly).So I'm hoping to put the AP in his house and connect to my router wirelessly.

Hi guys,I wanted to extend my wifi signal range because my default router given by my isp is not that great . Im looking to extend the signal about 20-30 meter outside my house and would to know if this repeater can do the job http://www.tp-link.com/ph/products/details/cat-12_TL-WA801ND.html. Also,will this repeater work with my current router or will there any possible problem ? Thank you and sorry for the lame question,I dont know much about networking.

Hi guys , currently Im looking to get a gpu which is either the GTX 960 4gb ( used and no warranty left) or the gtx 1050 (new). I mostly play competitive games such as Overwatch and CSGO and I set the game details to the lowest to get the most fps. However , is it worth it to get the used 960? Is there any advantages in fps on 1080p? I have done some research and found that the card does not perform so far from each other with the 960 getting some extra 10 fps max on certain game. TLDR; does it worth it to get the 960 with 4gb of vram for 1080p gaming ? Is there large difference for example 1080p Overwatch between these two? I just noticed that the Palit GTX 1050 only have Dual Link DVI . Can I still hook it to my monitor with a DVI-D (Single Link) cable?

Hey guys, currently my brother who lived about 100-130 meter from my house got a very poor wifi signal with my current default isp router (http://www.mudah.my/Original+D+Link+Wireless+Router+RG+DLINK+WBR2300-48685626.htm , i cant find its specs sorry). Hi , I am finishing my high school and soon I'll be my study to a college . I'll need a laptop for study and some light gaming . I researched a bit and found this laptop will suit me quite well for the task , the HP Pavilion 15 and Dell Inspiron 14 . However I cant find a review for the laptop with the same spec as listed on the seller website. I prioritize the speed , storage and battery life and I am not looking to play hardcore game on it.Some CSGO and Dota2 is good enough on medium setting. if you enjoy older game get the 1060 and if you want to wait for more game to use the vulkan and directx12 then go for 480

make sure your psu is at least 500w too just in case
