Thanks a lot for the quick replies and sorry for the typo I will get an i7 and stick with Haswell.

Hi there, I'm in a debate whether I should upgrade my current pc or just get a new mobo for a skylake system.Is an i7 4690 non k better than an i5 6600k ? And how long do you think the i7 will last before it becomes obsolete also is ddr4 really worth it will it affect performance ? If I had to upgrade my current pc I would only need to upgrade the cpu psu and gpu instead of a whole new system.What do you think I should do?
