I’ve owned a lttstore.com water bottle for the past year now, and I have only filled it with water. I was just thinking how much fun it would be to watch the ltt staff have a contest to see who can chug the entire bottle the fastest. I hope this thread finds the right eyes.

I most likely HAD a warranty but its probably expired at this point. This machine is 3-4 years old. Thanks for the idea though.

Looking for just replacement glass for this touchscreen chrome book (Acer Chrombook R1). The model number is CB5-132T-C32M. Ive tried the quick google method and lots of websites show the part but say it is either out of stock or discontinued. This model is a touch screen and it still powers on and has full touch capabilities still, its just the glass that needs fixing. If anyone knows anywhere better I could look I would greatly appreciate any tips! Thanks!

CPU temperatures while overclocking

I think this is what I'll end up doing, buying new paste and applying it. But is there a way to make sure that the paste is evenly and well spread out? I think I have a phobia of not knowing if the thermal paste is well applied. -
CPU temperatures while overclocking

No, I'm using the stress test that is built inside of Aida64 because this test is meant and built for Haswell CPUs. I just think I may have received a very bad overclocker that heats up way to much. -

I'm using RealTempGT to monitor the temperatures. The H100i came with paste pre-applied to the copper so I don't think that having to little or to much is the problem I just think that some of the paste may not even be making contact with the CPU for some reason -

4770k with 4.3GHz on 1.2v... Sorry I forgot to say that. -
CPU temperatures while overclocking
DoctorSarcastic posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
When overclocking, do I look at the temperatures of the individual cores or just the whole CPU while I'm stress testing? The overclocking doc as a lot of temperatures around 70-80 C with an H100i, that's what I have cooling my CPU. The thing is when under stress, core #1, the hottest core, can get up to 97C! But just the CPU only gets up around 74 C. When people are posting their numbers, are they posting about their cores or the whole CPU? Thanks and please let me know if cores are allowed to get this hot or I'm just frying my chip... Thanks again. -
So de-lidding the CPU would be my best option? What if i just bought some better paste and applied a little more then usual? I wonder if the uneven spreading could be becuase of some motherboard flex or uneven tighting of the screws.i do remember however that I did tighten the screws down very hard the last time I removed the cooler.

I have just started to attempt to overclock my 4770k. The cooling I have on it is the Corsair H100i with a pair of Noctua NF-F12 fans mounted on the bottom pushing air through the rad and out the top of the case. I have just successfully booted and ran a 2 minute stress test using the one built into Aida64. The CPU frequency was set at 4.3GHz at a voltage of 1.2v. I am a bit sad that this chip is not a real good overclocker as I tried 4.5GHz at 1.2v and it gave a BSOD on boot up. Anyway, I am not worried about the chip and it's overclocking abilities, I am worried about the temperatures I am getting while putting under stress even at this low of a voltage. I am getting an average of 89 C on all cores and at one time a max of 97 C on the first core. I read all over the internet that the H100i performs exceptionally well with high loads. These temperatures are not resembling that. The last time that I removed the cooler, I had noticed that the thermal paste had not really bonded very well with the CPU. Could this be part of the reason for low temperatures? Or is it just because the pump isn't running fast enough or something like that? Also, is there a way I can know for sure that the pump is actually running and that the liquid is actually flowing? Many thanks and sorry for the long post.

The CPU is around 3% when nothing is running and its idling. Its almost the same story with the GPU, just at about 6-7%.

I am now seeing other posts with issues with the Nvidia's driver. I don't think my particular issue with my GPU is related to the driver as it happens in other games other then Advanced Warfare...
