  1. That explains it. The only reason I'm looking for one with USB-C is in the hope that sometime in the next 4 years someone will make a "razer core" that can work with laptops besides the razerblade stealth. That way, even though now I don't want to be distracted by gaming, if I get my college work well under control further down the line I can have a good option through that. But it's probably not worthwhile. I could probably build a semi-legit gaming desktop for how much the razer core costs... Also, what do you think about the X1 carbon as an alternative to the T460s?
  2. Yeah. When I google "best business laptop", the results usually are filled with sites recommending the higher end Lenovo models. The problem with them is that (as far as I can tell) they all either lack a USB-C port or the 1080p touch screen--so that's a problem. But if I run out of any other options, I'll probably ditch the type C port and end up with one of the lenovo models.
  3. Hi guys. I'm gonna be a college freshman next year. And I want a laptop that I specifically CAN'T game very well on, but I still want to be able to stream movies on it. I have some very specific requirements that I can't seem to find!! -must have USB 3.1 type C port with thunderbolt -must have a TOUCH 1080p display, but not a higher resolution! Any more resolution than that will only cause scaling issues and drain battery life. I've been looking for something that meets these requirements for a little while, but I've been unable to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Forgot to mention my budget is around 1800 USD.
