  1. Can anyone help me out with a problem? My Logitech G933s have REALLY low volume even at 100% maxed everything (Yes I checked the in game volume and mixer). Watching YouTube or playing iTunes the volume is really loud, in game or system sounds are really low. It's not just this game either, it's every game. iTunes https://i.imgur.com/erDn8xh.png Browser https://gfycat.com/EsteemedPersonalArrowana System Sound https://i.imgur.com/OUOWm5S.png In Game https://i.imgur.com/PZjW0ZT.png https://i.imgur.com/2HU2VXw.png LGS https://i.imgur.com/eBOcjtN.png
  2. Hello everyone, I'm having a little trouble with GeForce Experience and I'm hoping that someone can help. I want to re-install GeForce Experience and not have it automatically scan my computer for games to 'optimize'. I found this thread where you add/change some values to make GFE not auto scan, but it does anyway. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/5iihbu/disable_geforce_experience_startup_scan/ Even before you sign into GFE, if I go into the config file and remove the searched folders, it will just add games from those folders anyway. I've also come to the conclusion that GFE searches for keyword files/folders when doing its scan. 'Steam' and 'Game(s)' seem to be two keywords that it looks for. I also found a video where you change a good amount of code to block the forced sign in and use GFE as anonymous. Through this code you can also block the automatic scanning of files/folders for games. However this method doesn't seem to work for me, after restarting GFE to finish the login, GFE is completely white. Has anyone got a solution to stop GFE from searching for games to 'optimize', as well as how to remove games that have already been added?(I'm not talking about the hide button.)
  3. So I'm having a problem with my Note 8's 3.5mm jack. I can use 2 ring 3.5mm jacks, but when I plug in my 3 3.5mm headphone cable from my Logitech G933s I don't hear anything, but I can use that same 3 ringed 3.5mm cable on my old Note 3. Anything I can do?
  4. Having a little trouble with Gyazo. Recently upgraded Motherboard/RAM and now whenever I use Gyazo's screenshot feature the program crashes. I'm able to use the GIF screenshot feature though, which is weird. I updated Java to the most recent patch and Gyazo worked last night. Turned my PC on today and tried to use it again and it crashes every time again. Problem Event Name: AppHangB1 Application Name: Gyazowin.exe Application Version: 3.3.2.0 Application Timestamp: 591ab822 Hang Signature: c3ed Hang Type: 0 In Event Viewer it says, Event ID: 1002 | Task Category: (101)
  5. My friend and I are desperately looking into how to play Halo 1/2 Co-Op Campaign together on PC (Online). Is there any possible way that we can create some sort of a virtual LAN and play split screen or anything? With that being said, what are your recommendations for FULL Campaign Online Co-OP PC games? Preferably FPS. No RTS, please!
  6. The savings were ok, but I bought it from Newegg as that's the only company I've ever trusted when buying PC parts. Thanks for the input though.
  7. Hello all, Last year I made a post about my MSI GTX 980 Ti that died within the warranty period (12 month warranty period, died at 11 months). MSI refused to RMA it as I live in Australia and I bought it from Newegg (USA). Can I do anything to fix this card? It was well taken care of, I still have the original box, receipt and all. At this point I'd like to do anything I can to restore this card, it's just sitting in the box in my closet. Backstory -- I can't remember the exact amount, but roughly 8 months into owning the card I started seeing blue/red artifacts on my ShadowPlay recordings. This is what it should've looked like This is what I saw on my ShadowPlay recording It then started getting progressively worse Eventually it got to the point where as soon as I would get to the windows loading screen when starting up the PC it would freeze permanently until I hard shut down.
  8. Hey friends, my brother has a HP Pavilion p7-1229 and just got a http://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-6255-KR and I installed it, however whenever I go to boot it gets stuck on a screen very similar to this http://psg.i.lithium.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/83496i4C8A1F4ECA5D96F4?v=1.0 After ~15 seconds it beeps once, then after maybe another 15 seconds it beeps once, pause of ~1 second then 3 more beeps right after. After the 4 beep phase any key I press on the keyboard makes a slight beep sound from the MOBO. I also tried uninstalling the drivers for the older 550Ti that was in there, that didn't help. I took the card out and put it in a different computer and it works fine. I then swapped out hard drives so the HP hard drive was in the PC that worked with the 1050 Ti, it bluescreen'd with 0x7b. Any thoughts on why the 1050 Ti isn't working on the HP?
  9. That's exactly my thought process. Needless to say I won't be purchasing any MSI products anymore. I've RMA'd before with EVGA before and they were more than happy to replace the defective product(I just had to pay for the shipping to the location).
  10. I do. I have access to the NewEgg account for printscreen proof, as well as a physical invoice from NewEgg that shipped with the product. Here's what the MSI employee told me, You’ve got an oversea model from USA. There is no global warranty for desktop components. Then I proceeded to ask very politely if there was anything I could do, as I'm basically stuck with a hunk of metal. Here's their response; Dear myname, If you import a car from oversea, you cannot claim warranty recall service on it free of charge. Only notebooks comes with 1 Year International Warranty because you have to carry it around. Different market, different price and terms and conditions. I believe you bought it there because it is cheaper but then you don’t get the warranties. I tried to go through NewEgg, they responded with: Actually, for this item, Newegg provides 15 days return policy. The manufacturer did not provide any warranty. Different item has the different return policy, you may find the return policy in the Warranty & Returns on the item description page. At this time, I advise you to take it to local repair store for further assistance.
  11. Hello! My MSI 980 Ti has died and the company refuses to RMA (even though it's within a 12 month period) because I live in Australia and I bought it from Newegg(US). My question is: what can I do to fix this card?
  12. Just installed it, under Fan Techometer it says Min: 4110, Max: 4200. I don't understand why the minimum rpm is set so high. Whether I drag the fan speed slider to 30 or up to 100 it makes no difference. https://gyazo.com/39f8e18df023285a516ae2440139e1fb
  13. Recently my GTX 980 Ti has died and I've had to go back to my old GTX 680. Every night I have an automated sleep event set in Task Scheduler, whenever I wake the computer the GPU fan ramps up to 4000-4200 RPM and takes 2-3 hours for it to settle back down to normal speeds. I use EVGA Precision X to adjust fan speeds, however for some reason it has no effect on the GPU fan speed until the fans go back to their original speeds(which hasn't happened today, they've stayed at 4000-4200 rpm). GPU is at current drivers (375.70) and temperatures are perfectly fine.
  14. Hello friends, recently my MSI GTX 980 Ti has died. It is only 11 months old (Purchased Nov, 2015) and still under warranty according to the MSI global policy (http://imgur.com/kiml9SS) I sent a support ticket in last month with proof that the card was failing. When I first noticed it I was using ShadowPlay to record and I was seeing a crazy amount of artifacts in my recordings so I asked around and everyone that replied to my posts told me that it was 100% the card and it should be RMA'd. In my support ticket I provided proof that the card was failing both in picture and video formats, (http://i.imgur.com/lm0sQ3M.png). I made the mistake of calling it EVGA Experience ShadowPlay instead of GeForce Experience ShadowPlay. The response I received was 'Dear Customer, This is MSI not EVGA. You might be at the wrong place?' It seems that the MSI employee didn't even look at the images(or the included YouTube link with video proof) or read the ticket properly. I stopped using ShadowPlay and the card seemed fine up until a few days ago. I was playing some games when both of my monitors turned a light gray colour (Somewhere around #b4b4b4) and I hard to hard reset the PC. Upon restarting I was unable to get past the initial Windows loading screen,(http://imgur.com/ertYHpk). After trying switching HDMI and DVI cables, only using 1 monitor, turning on the PC without having a monitor connected then plugging one in after logging into Windows, I proceeded to format my hard drive and fresh re-install Windows. After the re-installation I was able to get into windows and start fresh. I installed GeForce Experience to get the latest drivers, after installing and restarting I was again no longer able to get past the initial Windows loading screen, seen above. I thought maybe it was GeForce Experience so I used Windows Restore and reinstalled GeForce Experience then restarted. Worked perfectly fine. Only once I installed the graphics driver was I again no longer able to get past the initial Windows loading screen. I took out the MSI GTX 980 Ti and replaced it with my old GTX 680, I was able to get past and load into Windows completely. This is all information I gave to MSI on my support ticket in efforts to get a RMA. I also included a screenshot of my receipt(required for their RMA process). Their resonse was "You’ve got an oversea model from USA. You cannot claim any warranty here in Australia. There is not International Warranty for desktop components." So my question is what am I supposed to do? The product failed in under a year and they have a global warranty policy which my incident falls under, yet I'm not supported because I bought one of their products from an official reseller(NewEgg) and I live in Australia? It's also worth noting that nowhere on the Warranty page does it state that there is no "International Warranty for desktop components" on both the US and AU websites. https://us.msi.com/page/warranty/ https://au.msi.com/page/warranty/ Any help in what I can do is greatly appreciated.
  15. I disabled the OC Genie and it's still happening. It happens the SECOND I turn on ShadowPlay recording(whether it's the passive recording or direct recording). Computer freezes for 3-5 seconds then blue screens and restarts.
