  1. im hoping to get a monoblock for whenever the new build happens. from the more i keep looking at, it seems i might have to go with Aura compatible fans and leave the dream of the special effects of the LL fans behind
  2. if you were just doing straight gaming, I'd suggest intel. but since you add streaming into the mix, and a budget like that. you cant go wrong with a Ryzen build i reckon.. plus Ryzen is unlocked for overclocking depending on what board you get. you say monitors only do 1080p. are you sticking with them? or are they queued for an upgrade at some point.. if you stay at 1080p, a 1070 or 1080 (maybe even a Ti) should be heaps cheap second hard and they will be have no problems eating up anything 1080p.
  3. first of all. my overall goal is to have one lighting system, or a synced lighting system. so i like the corsair LL series fans and especially their pingpong effect chained through the fans and light strips.. and i would love to have this.. i know i can sync my keyboard, ram, and fans to lighting effects through the corsair software, but is there a way to have the corsair software operate the CPU and GPU waterblocks?. im pretty sure its too much to wish for motherboard lighting through corsair. or maybe there is a way to get aura to operate the corsair LL fans??.... but then there wouldn't be the pingpong would there? sorry for the rambling, if anyone has any insight to whatever it is im thinking of achieving. any help would be apriciated :)
  4. is it my source wifi that feeds the access point... or is the access point fed through the ethernet cable?... if the AP is fed from the source wifi.. my cable modem only does wireless N speeds.... but im happy either way as long as i get a seemless transition in the ways that cell phones work with towers.. as long as there is one just one network.. one password.. one connection.. but with the two transmitters. this is soo far beyond my understanding and it sounds complicated.
  5. so like this one?? https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking-Wireless/Access-Points/66440-UAP-AC-M-PRO also. apart from around $200 or so... whats the difference between the Ubiquiti and this TP-Link.. https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking-Wireless/Access-Points/37107-TL-WA901ND learning here still .. also i forgot to mention that i might need some ethernet ports in the lounge behind the TV for future expansions of blu-rays or set-tops or maybe even a steamlink. but i can just plug a network switch before the wifi transmitter right? or is there a better way to go about this then what do others call it?
  6. Networking stuff has always beed confusing to me.. currently i have 100 megabit cable internet through a netgear CG3000-2STAUS.. 4 port ethernet with wifi. The modem is at one end of the house and the lounge room is across the other end of the house with poor wifi reception. Id like to run a ethernet cable to the lounge room to hardwire some sort of device to broadcast the same wifi network (ssid i think its called) as the one the cable modem is broadcasting.. there will be phones, tablets, and a brand new 4k oled smart tv streaming stuff from 4k netflix and from my NAS next to the modem.. What gadget am i looking for?? Also i live in australia, so not so many choices for gadgets here.. something linked from either of these two stores would be great.. thanks in advance Scorptec.com.au Pccasegear.com

    Asus PG27AQ

Hi guys. so i bought an Asus PG27AQ monitor and it has alot of glow/bleed (forget the difference) to it around the corners and edges. Upon a bit of digging around i have found others with problems the same but not many of them.. Just wondering if i got one of the few bad samples and i should return to store for swaps, or if the problem is more widespread. I have also seen alot of people saying their sample of the monitor is perfect. Thanks for your time people
  8. for me. it would be the ability to be able to 1080 or 1440 at really high fps and refresh because its just that little bit nicer for twitch movement games, but also have the ability to go 4k/60 for the pretty in less movement intensive games.
  9. the pictures had something hiding the connectors, so couldn't really tell what was going on. it did look like there could have been two connectors on the far side though
  10. so. i found the following two links about an asus 4k 144hz IPS. for my tastes this is the absolute perfect monitor. does anyone know anything more about its existence? https://youtu.be/D6AUn5hHg-A see the shot of the infomation @ 14 seconds. http://nl.hardware.info/nieuws/48164/computex-asus-toont-27-inch-4k-ips-monitor-op-144-hz-en-diverse-andere-monitoren Translated..
