Thanks guys, will definitely look into both of these!

Oh, I get it, there maybe some merit to running it on my own machine in that case, maybe in a container. How much space does the server require/ how efficient is the file versioning (does it make a full copy or does it diff) etc? Would be very helpful. Thanks

The problem is that I would like it to run locally, like Git, with the option to sync to a cloud service if needed. Free by default as well with no limitations.

Hi, could someone suggest a Document Version Control Tool for files that runs offline and on Linux. The functionality of the tool is ideally like that of Word or Google Docs which automatically store previous versions of the document. I have not considered VCS tools like Git for this cause it requires me to make commits which I don't want to do, basically automatic file versioning on the local machine (Bonus if I can sync it to a cloud service). PS. It need not version an entire folder, but if it could, that would be a bonus as well Thank you

Basically I was wondering if it is possible to get display output on a system that does not have any GPU (integrated or otherwise) but has a motherboard with the ports for display output. The CPU would handle the GPU work natively using a software rendering technique (I believe something like windows WARP allows that but I am not sure) Currently I have a 5600x which has no iGPU, so would like to know if there is any way to force CPU rendering. This is really only to satisfy my own curiosity about CPU rendering. (Crysis on Threadripper was fun)

The ADSL you might not find much information on but it is a digisol DG-BG4300NU and the router is a dlink dir 816

Hey guys, So first let me explain my problem with the equipment I have. I have an ADSL router, a normal router, a usb WiFi dongle, and my pc. I wanted to connect my adsl to my computer, currently it's connected via a WiFi dongle to my pc, the problem is, that the latency skyrockets , generally it sits around 70 ping in cs but frequently spikes and I lag out to hell. I believe the problem lies in the dongle. I wanted to connect my regular router to my pc and then connect the ADSL to that, I only have a short LAN cable and thus can't directly connect the ADSL to my pc. So, is there a way I can configure the routers so that the regular one connects to my ADSL while the regular one is connected to my pc. I know this sounds complicated and I should just run a longer a LAN cable but hey, I want to try this at the very least so if you can help me any way in understanding how to do this, please do reply Thanks.

Hey Everyone, I was trying to find a relatively compact wireless mechanical keyboard, i know this is an odd request but it is necessary as i will constantly need to move my keyboard off my desk as it is for both my PC Table and a study desk. If this is not possible, please at least reccomend a decent wireless keyboard that will mostly be used for gaming and i dont want a mushy keyboard feel. Thanks P.S( by compact i dont mean without numpad but anything in this niche request category would be great)

Gaming laptop or desktop under rs 80000 or 1100 $
Noisycall replied to Noisycall's topic in New Builds and Planning
If it possible I really would, I can't explain the reasoning behind why but suffice to say that I can't build it from separate parts, believe me, I wish I could, but I can't, so do you know any laptop or PC, thanks for your concern though -

So if any of you know a place or could recommend a place where I could look it up, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yet another gtx 1060 vs Rx 480 debate. Help guys
Noisycall replied to Noisycall's topic in Graphics Cards
I guess then that it's better to invest in the Rx 480 since the benefits of the gtx 1060 are marginal currently and won't exist in the future. Thanks for the help
