By then the partner cards of the RX 480 might be out, they have more ram and have cross fire (no sli on the 1060 remember) so you can slot another one in in future if your motherboard allows. Also when you come to buy try looking on Maplins web site i just bought a MSI GTX 1070 gaming X for £420 off them and Scan and overclockers have put theirs up to £470 because of availability! Maplin dont seem to bump prices up, if out of stock just fill in the alert me by email when back in stock and jump all over it when it does that's what i did. Good luck which ever way you go, i would of waited for vega but relly needed a new card... got a feeling AMD are going to to be better at DX12 and Vulkan.

My MSI Gaming x has just arrived today! Performance wise i dont think theres much between them. Have to say the MSI build quality looks great! In the UK their customer support seems really good, they went out the way to sent me an IO shield for my Gaming 5 mobo when i didn't receive one in an open box purchase. If only MSI did a million edition of the 1070 in the green would be perfect for you!

Just sold my old PC with the Z97 gaming 5 and 4770k because i got an MSI Gaming pro in a deal but having installed it i just can get over the Sata and USB 3 ports sticking up rather than being on the side and on a NZXT s340 it ruins the clean look. So the pro is going on ebay! Fickle i know...

HI all, ive searched hi and low on the internet and on MSIs web site but am struggling to see the difference between MSI Z170A Gaming M5 and MSI Z170A Gaming G45, bother are similar prices and pretty much as from what i can see the same spec? Leaning to the M5 but out of stock in scan at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Thats what im asking am i wrong to complain, do the figures speak for them selves? The GPU market probably makes sense in the US but for the rest of us less so. I see you have 1070, what was the price like in Thailand? Did you feel it was fair? Ive almost talked my self into thinking the price is just fine because i want a 1070 Gaming x which is £450 right now in the UK but then i think, gees cards didn't cost this much.

There is no way that the GTX 1060 will cost £170 or even £230 or even £250... We will be looking at the £260 to £280 i can bet you! So for the relative performance of the 10 series cards we are now paying over £100 extra to what we did on the 9 series. Just to add, you could say... Well the GTX 1070 has the performance of a GTX980TI and the GTX 1060 will be GTX 980 level so look at the performance your getting for your money... to that i say so it bloody should its called progress!!! There is no law to say we can only have 20% increase in performance between generations so with one hand they give with the other they take away... Well from you wallet any way! Even Rip off Maplin have the card at £420 but only as they have no stock... Yes watch it go up when they do.
