  1. no auto install - i did come upon that link myself however i'm a bit confused - do i download everything from that link or only a few specific things?
  2. hi, just put together a new build with an i7 7700 & an rx 480 4gb, i've got everything together and running however i don't have an optical drive for driver installation - i'm trying to install the 480 drivers from amds website and after installing i get a "general error" and the display driver doesn't install. i figure it could be because i haven't updated the mobo drivers (gigabyte h110m-h) but when i google the drivers for that i'm not sure what to install. any help appreciated thanks
  3. The 1440p sweet spot card is the 1070.
  4. Thanks for the input however I just did a search on that monitor and apparently many people have an issue with every second frame skipping on that brand of monitor.
  5. Not looking to spend more than $230 and want the best for that amount of money. The bigger the monitor the better but I do know beggars can't be choosers so whatever I can get that is quality!
  6. Thanks for all the input guys! I'm going for visually pleasing so I guess obviously that's 1440, however all of my friends tell me that 144hz is nearly a must first as its so much smoother than 60hz hence why I'm having a hard time deciding.
  7. I can chose between one or the other as I'm on a very strict budget. What will be more pleasing to the eye?
  8. I have a 1070 and an i7 6700, thanks for the info!
  9. I was hoping to get 144hz however at this point I think I'm willing to settle for 60hz. Going from 1080 60hz to 1440p 60hz will still be considerably more pleasing to the eye yes?
  10. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00V8FAWC2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1469654191&sr=8-3&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=1440p+monitor&dpPl=1&dpID=41KvIm1Ph%2BL&ref=plSrch I'm on a very limited budget and this looks very promising. If anyone has had experience with one or could give me thoughts after looking at it, would be appreciated
  11. Looking for the best, cheapest 144hz monitor. I'd like 1440p BUT I'm on a pretty limited budget so if that's not possible I'll go with 1080p. I'd also ask that its through Amazon.
  12. With two or three monitors I'd suggest the 1070. I'm using 1080p on 1 monitor and have a 1070, and it is very overkill but that is the way I like it.
  13. What resolution and games do you intend to play
