Quick update: i failed, I even tried resetting the windows. currently I am downgrading to wndows 7

Ummmm only 137gb left and ahhh I need to move 700gb :v

I dont want more space, I want to move these files to another new partition , not copy them.

An idea just came to my head: I am going to try that I run repair thing from the cd, If that worked I will tell you in comments

I have 1 tb hdd with only one parition, I have in it 700gb folder (my backup), while I have on 137 gb free on it, is there a way to make new partition and put the folder on it? plz consider that I cant wait 24 hour to copy them to another hdd and another 24 hour to copy them back. thnx in advance

Here is a tip, try these two commands : sfc /scan and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth if both resulted errors, dont waste your time, reinstall windows , I highly recommand downgrading to 7 ultimate

these files are 700 gb dude, I only have 3 flash drives 4gb and one 16gb

It is not that easy to buy new hdd dude they are family pictures / work /game saves/ recorded videos, so ummm, no way

Well I have only 1 partition where windows 10 is installed, I have folder in that partition with size 700gb, I have only 137gb free. I want to downgrade to windows 7, I know it puts old windows stuff in windows.old, but i dont know about non windows files on c:/. Moving these files to another HDD is impossible(plz dont tell me to buy new hdd). Solutions:-make new partition and put that 700gb in it: I only have 137gb left, I tried googling it ut I didnt find anything. -put them in desktop so windows will move them to windows.old: I believe windows installation will take +48 hour plz helm me guys and thnx in advance ;))

just for your knowledge, I experienced this too, and YOU CAN NEVER FIX IT only by reinstalling, my problem was using kmspico which leads to corrupted windows files

Hi, I posted before saying I accidently deleted my files while upgrading to windows10. -my main problem is slowness. -I reinstalled windows 10 / 7 / 8.1 in these last 3 days about 7 times. -I tried chkdsk + defragmenting hdd using built in windows tool and defraggler. - 3 % defragmentation took me + 32hour. -my hdd was bought with the laptop , less than 1 year old + never recieved any shock / fall. -the full size of data i want to extract is about 700gb, the hdd is 1tb with 200gb left -s.m.a.r.t. says my hdd is fine -hdd sentinel the same. -I am super tired less than 5 hours sleep for the past week. ==>I gave up so I am trying to copy all my data to another computer so then I format the hdd to go back to performance. -I tried direct try using ethernet and wifi using connectify (one pc llike modem/host/router and the other just connect to it, I tried flipping) and undirect using a router and my phone as a router -> same result! -I tried copying using "share" , I dont know how to describe it : I go to network and log to the other computer and copy files( the 2 pc are on windows10) , the result: at 5% it goes to 0kbs and stuck in there,. -I tried one ftp host the other client and copied files:so many errors . -I tried 2 tools to reset permession for all files, so many errors ==> guys, I can barely open my eyes , my mind stopped working literely, plz help me if you understand something and sorry for thsi englihs.

sorry I just realized that the reason I failed to extend one drive that they were no the same type
