  1. Thanks for the reply why would you pick your build over mine? I just wanna know how the CPU's differ from one another
  2. Hey so I have a budget of £650 and I'm looking to get some upgrades for my PC pretty much taking all my old stuff out apart from my GPU and harddrive and replacing everything else. Just wanna know your opinions on this build and if you'd change or add anything, I'll be using this newer build for goth gaming, rendering and video recording (encoding with cpu) I was here last night asking about a good cpu and I've come up with this build so please feel free to assist me in making this build better or if you agree with it then please tell me as I wan't to make sure I'm getting a good build for my money. NEW BUILD: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Mr7Mnn OLD BUILD: Zalman Z3 PLUS case Intel Core i5 4570 "Haswell" Processor 3.2GHz Asus B85M-G Basic Micro ATX Motherboard 8GB Corsair PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory AMD Radeon HD 7790 1024MB Graphics Card 1000GB 7200RPM Hard Disk - 6Gbps 24x DVD-RW Drive Xigmatek Premium Grade 500W PSU
  3. Would you say this would be a good build for me? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/P992Fd +my current graphics card
  4. Yeah I know it's compatible I just wanted to know which would be better the 1240 or the 1241
  5. Could I even go for one of these? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646e31241v3
  6. Ok this thread has become rather messy can anyone give me a link to a CPU you'd recommend for me and a new motherboard also if needed. Ok and the 8350 is clearly out of the picture now
  7. M8 I will make it a cool colour just for you <3
  8. Yeah it won't work on that board I'm pretty sure, so you'd recommend me getting a Xeon over the AMD FX? Also I need to make sure that I have no encoding issues as I will be encoding using my CPU, currently my 4570 can't handle both gaming and encoding. I wanna make sure I'm spending money on something that'd actually improve my situation.
  9. So I currently make youtube videos for the total war games and I've had no real issues until the latest release of their new game (Total War: Warhammer) This thing eats my CPU for breakfast and lead to me having issues recording with fps drops and encoding issues because of this. My current CPU is a Intel Core i5 4570 "Haswell" Processor 3.2GH and has served me well but doesn't seem to work well with both gaming and recording at the same time. (Also keep in mind I'm encoding using my CPU. I've done some research about this and just wanted to know if it'd be worth me spending £400 or so on upgrading my current build a little (I won't be changing my graphics card as it seems to work just fine with the latest games) but anyways here's a list of what would be my final build. CURRENT BUILD Intel Core i5 4570 "Haswell" Processor 3.2GHz Asus B85M-G Basic Micro ATX Motherboard8GB Corsair PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory AMD Radeon HD 7790 1024MB Graphics Card oh and my really bad Xigmatek Premium Grade 500W PSU NEW BUILD AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor (or a Intel Xeon Processor E3-1231 v3) MSI 970 GAMING ATC AM3+ Motherboard Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze AMD Radeon HD 7790 1024MB Graphics Card (WILL KEEP FROM OLD BUILD) HyperX Fury Red Series 16GB 1866MHz DDR3(I will be transferring my hard drive and buying a SSD at some point.) There we go so would a AMD FX-8350 Be worth me getting and would it help with both recording and gaming at the same time, and also rendering maybe? Thanks if you have any questions feel free to ask Also if you have any suggestions for CPU's for me please feel free to comment ~ Diverse
