  1. Sorry was the late reply, i was budy gaming ;). I've talked to MSi and yes they were able to find a fix, it's not a solution but it gets the job done. The actual reason why this happend is most likely still unknown. We tried alot but the final solution was to insert an old Nvidia 8800 GT, go into save mode and install the drivers from the CD that came with the 8800 GT. After that i turned the PC off and switched cards and at worked, the 760 got recognized and i could install the drivers for the 760.
  2. I tried alot and also talked to Nvidia Support and they say it has to be a mainboard issue (hardware) or windows 7 issue (software). I can't call MSI on weekends so i have to wait untill monday and i gave up on microsoft support long ago. It's strange the card gets detected in BIOS just fine and i also visited a friend and tried the card in his computer, works perfectly. I tried every PCI slot in my mainboard, the first one works but does not detect the GPU, the other slots just say black and say "No Signal". Are the PCI slots broken? No, i tried my sound card in every PCI slot and it works prefectly in every slot. The GPU works, the mainboard works, so i think it has to be an issue with windows. I'll call MSI on monday and will see what think of this and i hope MSI can help me, i dont want to use the windows support. I'll update this after i talked to MSI.
  3. Hello, im Chris and i have a big problem with my GPU, it does not get recognized in my new system. 1)I switched out my old ASUS mainboard (socket 1156) with the MSI 970 gaming (socket AM3+) Switched out my old Intel i5 for an AMD FX-83350. Everything else is as it was before: 16 GB DDR3 RAM GeForce GTX 760 Jetstream 750W PSU Case Cooler Master HAF X Windows 7 Home 64 bit 2) And here's the problem, the GTX 760 does not get recognized by the system. WHen i open the device manager it says "Standart VGA graphics card. The card sits perfectly in the PCI slot and both 6pin connectors are connected on both sides (PSU and graphics card). After i installed the new CPU and mainboard i did a clean installtion of windows 7 home 64 bit from a USB stick. Please help me with this issue, im 99,9% certein that the GTX 760 works and ist just a software error somewhere. It' worked perfecly the day before and i was very careful while handeling the card. Greetings Chris
