  1. This is what I had plugged into the gpu originally. So my understanding is I don't need these? Or are they meant for something else since I don't see anywhere they can go.
  2. Thank you! I will switch them to the correct cables
  3. I believe that's what I'm thinking of the PCIe. This is my first build so some of it is a little confusing
  4. Thank you all for clearing that up for me. And yes I was taking about the power connector. I see on the power supply it says vga1 and vga 2. I'll be sure to watch that video to make sure I perfectly understand everything. So close to being able to power it on
  5. From what I've been reading the vga cables go into the graphics card but my graphics card came with two six pin power cables which fit perfectly into the graphics card. The six pin connects to a cable that plugs into the Sata/perif on the power supply. Do I not need the two vga cables if the six pin is plugged in? I don't know if this helps but I have a GeForce Gtx 970 graphics card and a evga 550 GS power supply
  6. Glad to know I didn't mess anything up. Thanks! @Lolucoca & @Monkeypeas
  7. Thank You! This build has got me nervous. The fact that I had a hard time getting the motherboard screwed in made me think I messed something up haha ?
  8. I'm afraid that I might of damaged the motherboard while trying to get it in the case. I was having a little bit trouble lining up with the standoff and noticed some residue on the back near the hole. I don't know if it was there already or if I did something. This is my first PC build.
