I have tried many times to turn it on, none have worked. I checked the connection, then after that failed I tried a different screen. Neither of those did anything. I have heard I should do a CMOS reset, but I never changed anything in the bios in the first place, and I certainly did not flash it. I have heard weird rapid clicky noises from it while it was getting power and the psu was on but the pc was off. Is my pc dead? :'( My gpu is seated. The pc worked fine but when I upgraded from the patent-pending AMD JetEngine powered stock cooler to a new one it stopped. I really don't wanna have to check the cpu, the new cooler was a pain to install. Please respond and thx in advance for any help. (Edit:) Sorry to spam this topic, really need a reply before I bleach my way to the next lvl

I'm not gonna argue over hard drives. Just look up dead barracuda online. It appears to be more frequent than "dead wd" or "dead hitachi" and they both have MORE purchases, meaning better chances. You are right though, they are better than many other brands or generic drives and their high end stuff is pretty decent

the benchmarks could be donald trump's for all we know. if u want to use 550w then it must be at least 80+ gold rated

also a ton of seagate owners say their drive is dead. while you, lee32uk, may not have problems, many people do. I appreciate that horror stories are heard from all brands (welcome to 2016, where customer support is worse than fashion in the 80's) but wd and hitachi seem to have the least.

if u can afford either, go with 980ti (as name suggests it's better than 980)
