  1. Did anyone else notice what sounds like an AI overdub of Linus’ voice at 9:43 ?
  2. Hello folks, I know absolutely nothing about sound systems so some help would be very much appreciated! I've currently got this tv. I have the speakers set up for 7.1 surround sound. I've been trying to figure out the most economical way to power these speakers. My first thoughts was with a HDMI audio extractor but then I realised I'd need an amplifier aswell so im not really sure what to do. Im trying to spend under £200 if possible but if this is unrealistic i'm okay to go over. Thanks!
  3. I've been using easus todo backup for ages but its not been quite fulfulling the task recently. I was wondering if anyone else knew of a free (or cheapish one-time purchase) program to backup and compress my OS drive to a NAS. All the ones I've seen are either pay per year or made for windows XP. Thanks!
  4. The PC is already built, (also im pretty sure i put in the wrong fan model on the part picker list). I need reccomendations to upgrade the pre-existing msi 1050Ti
  5. Is your HDMI plugged into your graphics card, or your motherboard? Also did you try re-connecting the graphics card to the PCI connector (the one on the side)

My main reason for wanting to upgrade is my addiction to space engineers stresses out my gpu at low-mid settings, and would prefer to play on higher settings. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
  7. I do need better performance, well i dont *need* but I would like to be able to run higher settings on games. The number generator just gave me an idea of which was the bottleneck.
  8. There wouldnt be that much of a difference, either two of the thermometers are just broken, or your monitoring software is bad.
  9. Hi, I recently (about 3 months ago) built my first PC. <- Partpicker link However i am quickly realizing my Graphics card is heavily bottlenecked. PC-Builds bottleneck calculator is suggesting a 1070, but i really dont have that budget. Im happy to sell the 1050ti in order to get a better one, but what do you guys suggest. I have £150 currently, + however much i can get for the 3 month old un overclocked gpx card (Im assuming its not worth it to sell) Thanks.
  10. As an update: It was solved just by waiting 24 hours, plex was probably doing some weird stuff.
  11. Could you send a PCPartpicker perma-link, it’s a lot easier for us to work with.
  12. Hi, to be honest you have a pretty solid rig, and really shouldn’t be struggling with any games (possibly with some lowered settings). The only suggestion i would make is possibly a SSD if you don’t already have one? It seems much more likely to be something non hardware related, as you have a still relevant and solid build.
  13. Hi, I recently set up a omv plex server, every time i try and access the plex interface on the ip address (192.168.1.xxx:32400), it says (or some variation depending on browser) When i go on the app.plex.tv page, it searches for a server for about 30 minutes, then says: Im pretty sure its something to do with port forwarding and whatnot, but i have no idea what its all about. (something to do with this: http://prntscr.com/moqc82 ) Thanks for any help!
  14. I tried it again, and it didnt even show the error/log screen this time, just ACT and power leds
  15. Im certain i tried both not decompressing it, and using etcher, however i will try that again.
  16. There were no install instructions xd, I just did it the normal way. Raspbian did run correctly.
  17. Hi, Im trying to run Open Media vault on my raspberry pi, but every time i boot it Display the screenshotted message below. Screenshot I have tried multiple working sd cards, images, and imaging softwares. Would appreciate any help.
  18. Ah, alright. I already have a pi, i just need a way to get the ping command to communicate with python as im using a python library called Blinkt! as status LEDS.
  19. I had a look at that, but it said my domain was not registered?
  20. Try, if you have one, putting it in another slot?
  21. You would have to be able to access the nas outside of your network, which is not normally allowed in them. You would most likely have to, (unless your nas supports it) set up some sort of web server that you can put files into, that are automatically copied & deleted to your nas.
  22. Hi, I was trying to figure out a way to ping my website to check its running, and if its not output a gpio signal from a raspberry pi to light up a LED (I can do the gpio signal part) But couldnt for the life of my figure out any way to use python to ping a website. Thanks for any help, Pxnguin
