  1. Hi, so I have been dealing with this problem for a while now. I have an HP Omen 15 laptop. And the issue is that I'm getting random stutters while playing games. When I have the MSI Afterburner overlay running, I see that framerate is quite stable, but the frametimes jump around like 15-40 ms. to sometimes 200ms even and it happens in pretty much every game. There are times when those stutters even happen in day-to-day usage, while just doing basic tasks. I'll try to list what I tried, but I just don't know where to start with this issue. My specs: HP Omen 15-en1xxxx AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 2x8GB 3200MHz 2xNVMe SSD (Sabrent 1TB + Samsung PM918a 512GB) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB Windows 11 Home 22H2 64bit (OS Build 22621.2861) BIOS updated to the newest version: F.23 What I've done so far: All of the drivers are updated (including the AMD chipset drivers from AMD site) All Windows Updates are installed Temperatures look fine, although the Samsung SSD is running quite hot all the time (about 50-55c) Following this guide: Micro Stuttering Fix in Windows 10 (AND WIN!!) (youtube.com) Disconnecting all devices connected to the laptop, didn't help Disabling HPET Resetting power management options and setting it back to High Performance Reinstalling NVIDIA drivers and installing them again using NVCleanInstall using settings I found on Reddit : Anyone with an Nvidia video card have luck slaying the DPC latency dragon? : edmproduction (reddit.com) I will mention that I have a second monitor connected, but issue happens no matter if it's connected or not, so I don't think that's where the problem is. And if that says something to you, there were times were the laptop would freeze randomly and I'll get random artifacts and I can't do anything until I restart it. Here's a screenshot from LatencyMon, if that I'll help. Latency is not only high when I'm gaming, but even when just using the computer. This screenshot was made when I wasn't gaming. And full stats: I'll appreciate all the help I can get!
  2. Hello, so I'm kind off looking for new wireless headphones for everyday usage. No, they aren't going to be used for gaming, don't worry. So, right now I have Sony WF-1000x, but their battery life is quite bad and they have this annoying issue where right piece randomly disconnects. But I do like their sound quality, so I would like to get at least the same quality or even better. To be honest, anything would work for me (IEMs, on-ear and etc.), as long as others don't hear what I'm listening too. My budget is around 70€ and I live in Lithuania, but I can order from somewhere else. Right now I'm thinking about Anker Soundcore life Q20 or Creative Outlier Air.
  3. Hi, so I have a Multicom P17SM laptop with GTX 780M and it kind off overheats a bit, while gaming it sits at 93 degrees. One of the reason might be the thermal paste I'm using (CoolerMaster IC1 Value) and some worn off thermal pads, but I'll fix those in the future, I'll get Arctic MX-4 and new thermal pads. But I still was thinking about undervolting it, but it seems that originally it's locked, so I was thinking if it's still worth it using svl7 vBIOS in 2020? Or is there something better?
  4. So, I actually got HD 681 for 12.50 euros, because I bought them used. I wanted to order them from the shop, but delivery would take about 2 weeks and I didn't want to wait that long. I didn't really expect the build quality to be that bad to be honest, but you get what you pay for. For me, they aren't that uncomfortable, they definitely aren't as comfortable as my old Ausdom's, but I think pads change might fix that. Sound quality wise, they sound pretty much the same as my old ones, but not as boxed in. And I didn't really notice a problem with highs, maybe I just need to use them for longer or something, as I had them for only a few days.
  5. I decided to go with Superlux HD 681, as the seller of Evo version just won't reply to me. I'm gonna try them out, try to play around with the EQ maybe and if they're going to be bad anyway, I'll return them and if AKG K72 won't be sold by the time I'm done with HD 681, I'll pick them up.
  6. For now I'm stuck with : - New Superlux HD 681 or used HD 681 Evo - New HyperX Cloud Stinger - Used AKG K72 - QPAD QH-20/25
  7. I wish I had an audio store or something to try them out myself, because those Superlux have a lot of mixed reviews. Some say that the comfort is fine, others say it's terrible, same with the sound. I guess, I could buy them, try them out and return them if I don't like them because as I remember every electronics have 14-days return. I saw a listing of used AKG K72 for 20€, but are they any good for gaming, particulary for CSGO?
  8. Hi, my Ausdom M04s broke, because of my rage problems *cough*. So I was looking for a replacement but I kind of don't know anything about headphones so maybe you have any suggestions. Right now I'm thinking about : * New Superlux HD 681 * Used Steelseries Arctis 3 * New HyperX Cloud Stinger I even found a listing of Kingston HyperX Cloud I and Cloud Alpha used for my budget, but I think they're stolen because the prices are too low in my opinion.
  9. Hi, so I have a ASUS X550LN laptop with 840M. And a random problem appeared as you can say from the title. Things I tried : Playing around with power options in Windows settings and NVIDIA CP, Reinstalling my GPU drivers Running AIDA64 to check if there's no thermal throttle just to be sure, and there wasn't any. Temperatures are good, about 60-70 on GPU and about 70-75 on CPU. I think the problem might be because it's hitting the power limit but I don't know what to do about it, one guy suggested limit fps but I already get about only 30-40fps on most games and I can't undervolt the GPU either, it's locked. I tried undervolting the CPU (I just thought maybe that would help), and I did about -0.060V and the result is still the same. So do you have any suggestions? Might that be because of my unoriginal charger?
  10. I downloaded it directly from the web. I tried chmod +x and then "./" but it didin't work. I will try for number three.
  11. 1. Prison Architect 2. .i686 3. No, when I installed Linux Mint I didin't format my another patrition because I don'thave another flash drive where I can transfer my photos and other things.
  12. Hello, so now I'm using Linux Mint and downloaded one game. Starting file is with .i686 format and I can't open it. Tried to make it executable through settings, when I click on executable it's doing undo. I tried to do it on Terminal, didn't work too. Tried to change permissions, it's undoing everything and it's only with my another patrition and I think it's NTFS format. Can you help me? Sorry if my English is terrible
