  1. Nice! I just decided to move my current setup from the non XL to an XL and went with the Radikult Dynamic Duo front distro. Waiting for that to arrive and I will attempt my first hard line build lol.
  2. I got a set of Team Dark Pro that is pretty good, 3200 CL 14-14-14-31, to go with my 2700x
  3. The highest I have seen these cards hit is 50-55c after gaming for hours with 2x 360mm rads in my loop
  4. Sorry let me also clarify that this card will also go into my loop. I was looking at the SC2 card because I believe it is the reference PCB and will have more WB options. I agree on the deal with SLI, that is why I plan on sticking with single cards for the foreseeable future. As for the rest of my rig it a 6700k running at 4.6GHz, and the ram was some adata@2666 that came with the rig when DS Built it years ago. Since then I have read done the tubing in the loop and added a drain port.
  5. Basically, looking to possibly replace my two 980ti strix cards with EK acetal water blocks with a 1080ti, already have one of my cards sold locally here. Just wondering if it is really worth it, and if it is what card do you recommend? I was looking at the EVGA SC2 Black that was onsale for $749 with a free 750w power supply on Amazon(can just sell the PS to recoup some of the cost) Also I normally game on a Acer Z35p(3440x1440).
  6. Awesome, thanks! For now I will keep the radiators I have, but when I eventually upgrade my video cards /processor I may swap out the radiators. This was a Digital Storm PC that I bought early last year. I plan to keep re-using the case since there is plenty of room to work with.
  7. So I have had this prebuilt since early/mid2016 and I noticed a build up in the reservoir just recently. So I have decided to flush and redo the tubing in the system. Of course there is no drain port but I do have spare Koolance QD's to aide in the draining. At the provided Link I have some pictures that show the direction of the current flow. I am wondering if everything will still cool just fine if I reverse it to have the last item the fluid goes through be the radiator at the bottom of the loop and add a drain port there for future use. Any help/advice is appreciated. Computer Pics
  8. I looked at Alienware a few years back when looking for a laptop but went with a boutique builder instead (Digital Storm) for right around the same price and my laptop is still going strong even after a 9 month deployment to the desert. When It came to getting my desktop I once again went with a boutique builder (Digital Storm) for a few reasons, 1. I don't have the time to build my own atm, 2. Way more customization than Alienware, 3. Good experience with the builder with my laptop. Now I know that it can be expensive going the route I went (and it was for what I wanted), it just depends on what you want to get.
  9. at 1080P it might bottleneck, but I'm assuming you're not gaming at that resolution since you would never need 2x GX 1080's for that.
  10. I love my Corsair 900D (the wife does not though lol). It is big and allows for more than a few options.
  11. I like my Corsair 900D but it is a bit out of that budget. I think New egg has it for $344 US right now. It is also a huge case but it allows for a lot storage and cooling options. It also isn't very flashy with LEDs unless you add them yourself.
  12. I have an older digital storm laptop that is about the same size and have flown with and deployed with it. It can be a pain at times because of its physical size but the weight never really bothered me.
