  1. Well 1) for the challenge of seeing if we can do it. 2) because my dad would prefer to just have them not always running. Wants to get as long out of these fans as possible.
  2. I had already thought about it but this is going to be for a media center with no pc in it. We are looking for a non-software controller. Thanks though!
  3. Hey everyone, So me and my dad are looking to add air cooling to our home media center, we were going to go with a few nocturnal slim 92mm fans. We have been searching high and low online for a fan controller that will let us pick a temperature and have the fans come on at that temperature. So far the closest thing I've seen is the NZXT sentry 3 but that seems to only allow us to either use a predetermined temperature setting our set our own for an alarm. I don't need to worry about powering it just yet so that isn't an issue. What do you all recommend?
  4. Thanks man! i appreciate it! and dont worry. i wont come looking for you if it doesn't work. Thank you to everyone else! i really appreciate it!
  5. so should i take them off? I never see any other sleeved cables with them.
  6. Hi there, so i want to try sleeving my power supply cables. I have a modular power supply from Silverstone. I noticed that if i was to try to sleeve my PCI-E Cables, they have these large bulges within their heatshrink. Upon further inspection and testing on an unused cable, it looks like a battery is attached to two of the individual cables. This obviously poses a problem for sleeving the individual cables. My question is do I need this battery-like thing attached for it to work? Or can i remove it to move on with sleeving the rest of my cables. Thank you.
