  1. How about 510 vape batteries. I just had one explode on me. I called the store to tell them they were selling dangerous goods but they just offered me half off the next battery I purchased. I declined and got something hopefully safer.
  2. Trying to find a laptop without ten key as in just the keyboard. I liked thinkpads because i've had a couple in the past so I wanted to get one of those. I tried fb marketplace but couldn't find anything I liked. I found this on amazon but have been seeing bad reviews for amazon refurbished. Does anybody have any advice? https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B083BGCC1N/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2EYSW7F47BSIB&psc=1
  3. Sorry for taking so long to respond. That budget question is complex. My main goal is to get a silent computer as the noise of my current computer is giving me a headache that literally had me making conspiracy theories about the sound the power grid was making since it didn't stop when I turned it off. I haven't turned my computer back on in a couple weeks because the difference is way bigger than I thought it would be. I've turned my udoo bolt to one dollar now. My budget is nothing. Which is why I liked the udoo bolt at first because it was only 230 but that expanded twice as I sponge for bigger options. Also one reason why I wanted the raspberry pi zero w but that's not powerful enough. And I wanted to use the zero w to turn a keyboard into a wireless keyboard but that was too uncertain. What sort of budget do you suggest?
  4. I'm considering getting a udoo bolt v8 and putting a graphics card on it later. It's ballooned in price with the case and such so I'm having second thoughts. How much would the cpu bottleneck me in various loads? Currently I'm just browsing the internet and watching youtube but I'm considering some audio stuff. I thought a raspberry pi zero w would be good enough or at least a full raspberry (I wanted the zero w for something) but apparently it wouldn't be powerful enough. Also does anyone know if I can upgrade the soc later? Potentially with a non embedded soc if that's applicable. Or is a lot of the functionality on the chip? Hugs and tea, tumaru
  5. monoprice usb dac looks better the the headphone amplifier or you could go with the dragonfly red. If you really want to push those to the fullest you could get an audio gd nfb 28 or one of the other audio gd headphone amps.
  6. If you can get to a dedicated headphone store you should go to one and try all the headphones. I find places that also sell headphones that are too busy and loud aren't the best place to test headphones. Also I also vote for sennheiser being the best. Headphones are more like ice cream. They all have different flavours and you have to pick the one you like and not worry about it too much.
  7. Because it was $8 and I don't have $130 to spend on headphones. I thought it would be an easy fix. I can still return them today.
  8. I just got some razer blackshark headphones from the salvation army and the left headphone doesn't work. Does anybody know of a place around greater vancouver that could potentially fix this or have advice on how I could fix it. There isn't any wires detached in the device. https://goo.gl/photos/g2tW3w3ZwLRZCSEX7
