  1. Cheers for the advice guys! I'm gonna stay with the 1080
  2. The title says it all. What should I get? I'd love to play triple A titles but I only have a 1080p @60Hz monitor and I don't think I'm going to upgrade to a bigger resolution any time soon but the question still stands. My current build is as follows: CPU: I5 7600k @ Stock (will OC later) MOBO: ASUS PRIME Z270-A CPU COOLER: Cryorig H5 Universal RAM: 2 X 8 GB of DDR4 RAM @ 2400MHz STORAGE: Western Digital HDD 1 TB PSU: EVGA 650W 80+ Efficiency GPU : ???? My problem is that I'm an impatient kind of guy and I'm gonna be able to order the 1080 this week on Friday but if I were to get the 1080Ti I would have to save up for another week. What should I do?
  3. Alright then, cheers a lot mate!
  4. Hi guys, As the title says, I was wondering which PSU should I use? The thing is that I've already ordered my PSU before the GTX 1080Ti being launched thinking "Meh, the Ti won't be that much better than the 1080 so I shouldn't really go for it. I might as well stay with the normal 1080." And so, I ordered a 650W EVGA 80+ Gold Efficiency... Now that the Ti launched and the card has been tested I have a burning question... Should I give up on getting the 1080Ti just because I only have 650W PSU? Is it gonna be able to power the card or should I just stick with the normal 1080? In the link below you will find my build from uk.pcpartpicker.com. Cheers for the help! https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/s2KNZ8
  5. Can you do the same for https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ with a budget of £1400 :D?
  6. I was just wondering what would happen at Stock speeds
  7. ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Edition $569.99 in America and £659.99 in UK. NICE
  8. Hi guys, I'm pretty sure you've hear this question lots of times and you most likely know the answer. Although I've tried my best in researching this, I haven't come up with a sure answer. Would a I5 6600k (at stock speeds) bottleneck a GTX 1080 at 1080p? (I know this card is an overkill at this resolution but I'm thinking of upgrading to 1440p) Here's the complete build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/334rqk The games I'm into are as follows: GTA V, Tom Clancy's: The Divison, Just Cause 3 and many others. Open world games in general but I love the ocassional "close combat" kind of games such as Overwatch. Cheers
  9. Btw, will I need to buy some fans as well?

And also, I have no idea what should I buy for the computer case. Do you have anything in mind? (I like simple and elegant computer cases)
  11. Thank you guys for your explications and the help
  12. Hi, guys! Yesterday, I made a post about a new PC I'm going to build in just a few months. I've got new and exciting info that was pretty helpful (thank you for that)! But yesterday, I was told that I should change my PSU too but I'm not really sure which PSU I should choose for this build. Maybe you can help me out! The picture below shows the components I want to use in my build: By the way, the budget can extend to a little over £800.
  13. You guys suggested a better PSU, any examples?
