Hello, I have a family member who is struggling to install Microsoft Office 2016 and Kaspersky Total Security 2017, yet whenever he clicks on the .exe installer, a dialog box opens that tells us that "Windows cannot find C:\users\fannono\downloads\X17-75236.exe" (that is the location of the .exe he clicks), yet we just clicked on the referenced file. How can we make it work? (and no, I don't like Comic Sans, I just love to annoy others with it)

Recently, my system and CPU fans, controlled by my MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard through MSI command center, have been defaulting to manual mode 100% when first turned on and remain like that until i manually change it to smart mode. Those settings stay until I turn it off then back on again, when it goes back to the way it was before. What is the problem here?

I own an MSI 970 gaming motherboard with 2 of 4 RAM slots taken up by a dual channel kit of 8gb (2x4GB) Ballistix Sport Memory. Can I buy another of the same kit to make it 16GB? Would it work?

I believe you misunderstood - the headphone jack was replaced due to a connection being broken and worked fine afterwards. The microphone jack was never replaced and as far as I know, worked fine previously. -

I snipped off the existing connector then soldered the three wires inside to respective places inside the aftermarket, replacement jacks. The headphones worked fine after. Hello, For Christmas i received a Kotion Each G1000 Gaming headset and it worked fine until a connection was broken in the Headphone plug, resulting in me cutting off the jack and soldering a new plug on. The headphones themselves worked fine after that. I then realised that despite my PC detecting the microphone, it was receiving no sound from it. Could it be a hardware or software problem? How can I fix it?
