  1. Okay, now I can confirm this. This actually works! Thank goodness!
  2. It didn't even ask the Product Key. I hope it installs Home.
  3. Can it be done? Will it go back to Win10 Home? This is what I am doing right now. But it didn't let me choose what edition to install. Hope it detects the OEM PK as a Home PK and installs Home.
  4. I haven' backed up before upgrading... That's my mistake, trusting someone so much. lmao
  5. I've already tried that. Used my OEMs Product Key but it displays an error saying i can't use it.
  6. Hi everyone, i have a problem. My friend gave me a pro product key of windows so i used it and upgrades from home to pro successfully. But then when I restarted my laptop, it says it is not activated. So I called my friend and says it was just a prank(OMG i almost killed him). The good thing is I dont have any important files in this device so I plan to reinstall it back to win10 home again. So now my question is how?
  7. I'm not sure if the address is correct(with the pointer added to it) because it does not give the correct values and just 0. The value that I am expecting is 1. How to get the static pointer? I just found out that the pointer was changing and nothing(in the list of pointers) gives the exact values when the game is restarted.
  8. I am using Cheat Engine to get addresses to edit something in the application. But it seems like I'm doing it wrong when putting the values in Visual Studio using Read/WriteProcessMemory and Visual Basic. Here is the values I got in Cheat Engine. Now how can I translate these information and use ReadProcessMemory to get the value? Here is my code which isn't working and giving different value: Dim hp = OpenProcess(2035711, 0, ComboBox1.SelectedItem) Dim Pointer = 0 ReadProcessMemory(hp, 22724000, Pointer, 4, 0) Dim Address As Integer = Pointer + Convert.ToInt32("784B2", 16) Dim value As Integer = 0 ReadProcessMemory(hp, Address, value, 4, Nothing) MsgBox(value) I don't know how to use the values given by CE so if there's anything wrong with how I use the values in the code, teach me.
  9. So the repartitioning and reformatting and fresh installing windows 10 into my device was a complete success! Thank you everyone! I've contacted Asus support about my problem and if it will ask the product key, i will just follow the instructions below(if someone needs it): 1.I have checked your provided Serial Number and it came with OEM Windows preinstalled. In order to retrieve the OEM Windows product key, you will have to use below software.http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/produkey-x64.zip Please kindly download the file, unzip and run the exe file. Then, once the product key shown up, you should note down this key for further use. 2.You should refer to the below steps to try Activate your WindowsSelect the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation Once again, thank you everyone!
  10. I will try to repartition my device now since you've said it won't ask for the product key. And I trust people who answers in this website so I'll give it a shot. I've been researching about repartitioning in laptops and most of the results are the same with your answer. Thanks! I was just making sure the answers I was getting were correct.
  11. Hi everyone. This is the worst day of my life. My ROG GL552VX has this problem that it doesn't let me use the taskbar. This was my fault because I've downloaded something that contains a virus. All solutions that I saw on the internet didn't fix this problem. Even ESET NOD32 Antivirus 9 can't detect the virus, I run a full system in-depth scan to both drives C:/ and D:/ which is the default partitioning of this unit. So I don't have any choice but to reinstall Windows 10. With this chance to reformat the device, I would take an advantage to repartition it too. So that I may use the free space in C:/ drive to put games on it to achieve increased Read/Write Speeds. The default partition size for C:/ is at least 371GB and for D:/ is somewhere in 558GB. I would like to partition it like this: C:/ will be 50GB and D:/ will be the rest available space. With that in mind I now have this question, does repartitioning the drive (remove the Product Key of this device)/(does it need to ask the Product Key) when installing Windows 10? Or this will skip this step? I would like to know this information before attempting anything so that I will be sure that when installation comes, it won't ask me about the product key(since I don't have it). (Optional)And if you know anything about this virus, you can advice me on doing some trials to fix this. It would be great too!
  12. So XXXm ones operate slower than desktop ones?
  13. What is the difference between The desktop and notebook version of GTX 950?
  14. Do you have a MSI Afterburner or alike? Check if the temp limit is limiting your performance, or the power limit.
