  1. The monitor worked fine before on this set up. After reseating the GPU I was able to momentarily access my desktop to change the monitor settings back to 1080p 144hz. However after 30-40s the problem returned.
  2. So my pc worked fine, until I moved it recently into college. First of all my monitor (144hz 1080p) seems extremely stretched and appears to only display 60hz when plugged into my pc. However this isn't the main issue (as I assume I can fix this in the settings panel later on), the main issue is that with every keystroke/mouse click my monitor fizzles out into static then black. Once it's done, it refreshes back into that weird aforementioned stretched screen view and if I click my mouse/press a key the problem restarts. The monitor works fine (plugged it into my laptop, 1080p 144hz automatically, no problem). Power doesn't seem to be an issue either (I plugged the PC in by itself to my power strip vs plugged in with the rest of my appliances- same problem occurs in both scenarios). I reseated the RAM, SSD, and HDD- nothing. I believe my mobo is a msi m5 z170 and the error code flickers between 31-32. The weirdest thing is when I go into my bios everything works perfectly, no flickering, I can use my keyboard, I can use my mouse. But, once I try to enter my desktop/use windows- shit hits the fan. Please help.
  3. As the title says; budget is 300$. Last time I posted here you guys helped me choose the wireless bose qc30, and I love them- especially being impressed with bose's noise cancellation. However now Im choosing some in ear headphones so I dont know if I should stick with the bose noise cancellation family (at $240) or finally try out the sennheiser family (at ~70$). Just as last time these headphones will be used mainly at home as well as on public transportation. I personally enjoy a good bass but at the same time I dont want to be drowned in it. Thanks in advance!
  4. Yeah thats what I'm thinking too, I'll try it out.
  5. Tried, the maximum it allows is 120
  6. I know this is a pretty common thing, but my monitor is only going at 120Hz instead of the advertised 144Hz. Heres my monitor https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/model/UM.HX0EE.002 Im using a HDMI cable (not a dp cable)

    Bluetooth

I have just recently (literally a couple seconds ago) tried to install a bluetooth usb adapter. The one I used in particular is a random Insignia one I found in bestbuy. So I plugged in the usb to the back of my case (yes I made sure the usb port was working), and installed the drivers made for Windows 10 64 bit.Nonetheless, the bluetooth icon is still not showing up and I can't connect anything using bluetooth, help!

Tbh at $50 cheaper, if my only choices were the 25 and 35 I would choose the 35, spend the extra $50 and get the wireless feature.

I would say 99.9% of the time. I have to take a city bus in a very busy city and even in the early morning it is always nearly packed. Honestly if it isn't noise cancelling I am going to eventually destroy my ears with the intensity of the volume.

Sound great, just don't have that noise cancellation I'm looking for. But they look like a really great option if all else fails, guess you can't have everything in a pair of headphones

Honestly, if I'm understanding what you're asking, I would have to say I look more for a good amount of bass -mainly because the type of music I listen to greatly relies on bass to deliver the intended "feeling" I guess.I mainly need these headphones to listen to loud, thumpy,party-style music during my commute (early morning and evening) for a well-needed energy boost, I also tend to listen to this when I have to pull all-nighters to get work done. However, the headphones would also need to sound good for downtime when I listen to something like classical music.

I wanted to upgrade to some nice quality over the ear headphones with a price range of $350. I have decided to check out what I hear everyone talking about recently, the Bose QuietComfort 35. However, after some quick research I see a lot of people recommending Sennheiser headphones over Bose. So whats better, something like the Bose QuietComfort 35, or some Sennheiser headphones in the $350 price range (a popular model I found is the Sennheiser HD 598). What I'm really looking for: 1.Quality vs. price 2.Quality of the audio to just be generally high (if I am to spend $350 I want the audio to sound better than some $15 headphones) 3.Noise cancelling is a nice bonus as I would need to wear these when I commute (and my commute is noisy to say the least) Bonus: I've never owned Bluetooth headphones before, so though its not a mandatory thing, it would be a pleasant new experience. Thanks for any advice given
