  1. thanks guys, i didnt notice the cable while setting up the monitor and confused it with another cable, everything works perfect now
  2. Hey guys i recently just purchased a dell U2414H monitor and it comes with a usb hub in the back of it. im using the monitor to connect it to my laptop as an external display via Hdmi 1.4a since thats all my laptop supports. now my issue is, that i was under the impression that i can connect my wired mouse and keyboard in the back of the monitor as a way to help with cable management, but non of that is working. is this something thats possible to do? or would i have to directly connect the mouse and keyboard to the laptop? also, i forgot to mention that im on running on windows 10. thanks
  3. yea my laptop has a full hd 1080P display, i just want to use a 25inch 1440p external monitor with hdmi
  4. hey guys i currently own this dell inspiron http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-13-7359-laptop/pd?oc=dncww5014h&model_id=inspiron-13-7359-laptop. it has an i7 6500u, 8gb of ram, intel hd 520, and an hdmi 1.4a output. Im currently looking for an external monitor for home and the dell U2515H looks pretty good, my main concern is will it work with my laptop, at its full native resolution of 1440P. im mainly going to be using the monitor for school work, java programming, the occasional Youtube /Netflix video streaming, and IFF at all possible but not to important light gaming such as WoW or light steam games. i have read that Hdmi 1.4 should be able to handle 1440p, but i want to make sure before i spent 400 dollars on a monitor, or to know if 1080P would be a better option even tho the extra work space of 1440p will be missed. Thank you for your answers.
