  1. I have the money to buy 1 or even 2 but I find that unnecessary. @Obersachse @TVwazhere Is there one specific 165HZ 1440P monitor you would specifically go for. I have done some research and found four. These include: ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q ViewSonic XG2703-GS AOC Agon AG271QG Acer Predator XB271HU I have heard about the issues with the QC checks but what other issues do they face or is it all down to personal preference? I did some research and found out that the response times for them all except the PG279Q are on average 12ms. with a minimum of 4ms. Should I be concerned with this. Should I just hope to be one of the lucky people and buy a PG279Q?
  2. Haha, I am gonna keep my 1080p monitor as a second monitor and get rid of my current second monitor thats not quite 1080P. Would love to be able to shell out to buy more than one 1440p monitor but do not have the money for that right now. RIP OCD but thank you for the input truly appreciate it
  3. I have seen 1-2 models that are 240hz 1440p but they are £800 if the difference between 165hz and 240hz and 1ms and 4ms isn't going to be noticeable then the ups display should be the better choice just because I will be playing other games in it and most probably some films
  4. I am in need of a new monitor as my £100 60hz 1080P monitor is quite poor compared to my 1080. I ha e searched around and really want to upgrade to 1440p and at least 144hz.i have seen that 240hzis slightly noticeable but I would have to sacrifice IPS. I have also read that TN is better for competitive FPS games as it has a lower response time. What would people recommend. I don't really want to spend more that £700 but the cheaper it is the better I just want something that will suit me perfectly. thanks for the help never new it was going to be this difficult to upgrade.
  5. Yeh I was just looking the Interfaces I saw with the outputs were large interfaces with a $200+ price tag. Maybe I will wait until I get the headphones and then judge whether or not I think I need to change to optical and then will go from there.
  6. Is there not an external alternative? The other option I have is that when I buy my Mic i purchase an Audio interface with SPDIF or Optical out
  7. @Dackzy So I finally got round to ordering it today so hopefully should be with me next week. I spoke to a couple of other people who own the headset and they have said that whilst using RCA they could hear a slight buzzing. Therefore I looked around to see how I could use Optical. I remembered that I had a SP/DIF to 3.5mm adapter which I could use. But to use this you have to use a USB Sound card so I found this one Sound Blaster Play! 2 USB Sound Card. Do you think this will work?
  8. So I did some research and I believe the AT2035 will be perfect. I just need to find an Interface that will be perfect with the microphone. I was looking at the Scarlett interfaces but have read that they are not as good as they are said to be. Is this correct should I look elsewhere?
  9. Money isn't a problem, I might as well buy the best now and save money in the long run. Just like I have with my PC throwing 1080 in it.
  10. Yeh, I looked at them but was unsure as mixed reviews, Hopefully, someone else will say something about interfaces.
  11. I have actually seen both them, I will get the AT2035 as it is the 'better' one. What about an interface?
  12. Hey, So my set up upgrade is almost complete. The last couple of bits are underway and now I am looking for a desk mic to add. I know small amounts of information about microphones so I have come here to ask for some help. I don't know whether or not to head towards USB or XLR. I have heard that XLR is much better for future proofing sound quality and overall the better choice. My budget is about £200-£250 For Microphone and if needed Audio Interface. My budget does not need to include Pop Filter and Boom arm I have looked around and was looking at a Scarlett Interface and an Audio Technica mic but not sure if that would be perfect for what I need. I will be using the mic for In-Game use, Teamspeak, Live Streaming and maybe some youtube videos if I get round to it. Let me know if you need any more information, Many Thanks Dexter Current chosen parts (Can be changed if you think I could do better!) Pop Filter: Wanway MU-7 Microphone Swivel Pop Filter Boom Arm: Rode PSA1
  13. I will purchase them today then and let you know how they work out. will my PSU cables be ok folded together and cable tied for tidiness or will they get damaged?
  14. @NinjaJc01 So after looking around I did find some cheap ones on "Cables4pc.com" but after searching about them online they seem to have multiple cases of scamming and bad customer service. I then started looking at the Bitfenix cables which are quite pricey at around £10 for the extension I would rather have a product that will last me rather then a broken product. I ended up finding these too cables: 8 Pin PCI-E Cable (Red and Black) 6 Pin PCI-E Cable (Red and Black) Do you think they will be worth it? Or shall I look else where?
  15. I was thinking the Black, Will continue searching tomorrow. Thanks for the help
