  1. Hi. Did OP find a solution? I am running to the same issue you described where PC boots up, then turns off, then turns on, into bios. Also getting date and times getting forgotten within Windows 10. Happening when in XMP and with default BIOS settings. I just attempted to replace the batteries, and that didn't fix it.
  2. which would you recommend? if i do do a scheduled backup, maybe onces every two months or something.
  3. How can I backup my ssd to a hdd? can i just clone it?
  4. So I recently got a Samsung 970 EVO. And I currently have my Samsung 850 EVO as my main boot drive, with a few games on there (and all the necessary drivers). How would I go about setting up my new SSD? Do I just clone it? Or is there a way to just put windows onto the new SSD? If there are other/better ways you'd go about this, please let me know. I'd appreciate it.
  5. Hello, I just got my 2nd monitor, Dell 27" G-Sync 1440p 144Hz 1ms TN monitor, and was wondering how I could set it up as a dual screen with my current, LG Curved Ultrawide 21:9 34" 1440p 60Hz 5ms IPS LED monitor. I unboxed it, set it up, and plugged it in and it all works, I just need to install the drivers from the disc that came in the box. Any advice to properly setting this up to make a dual monitor set up? I'd like the LG as my primary monitor, and my Dell to display my games. Also any advice on doing whatever I need to do to get G-Sync running? Sorry I'm new to this so don't know much.
  6. Thanks for all the replies. Sorry i didn't phrase it correctly, I meant game on the 144Hz monitor and have the other one idle, have pages/applications open, or just on.
  7. Will my EVGA GTX 1070 FTW be able to duel screen a 34" LG Ultrawide 1440p 60Hz IPS LED Free-Sync Monitor and a 27" Dell 1440p 144Hz G-Sync Tn Panel? I currently have the LG monitor and was debating whether I should snag a gaming monitor. Been using this Ultrawide to game and do my coding on. It's a very beautiful monitor, but people are telling me to get a 144Hz monitor. Will my 1070 just have get tax'd/work harder to duel screen them or should I just turn one off when I'm using the other? Edit: I meant that I will game on the 144Hz monitor and the ultrawide I'll just have idle, have a page or application open, or a movie or something.
  8. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XWw2yf How can I check if my hardware is compatible with hackintosh? I only have to check motherboard correct?
  9. thank you so much. i have the asus maximus hero viii and my fans are teh be quiet silent wings 3 pwm high-speed. They are connected to the Chasis fan headers (2 of the fans are attached to a splitter), except for my cpu cooler (bequiet dark rock tf, which use the silent wings 2 pwm), which is attached to the CPU_HEAD.
  10. I have bequiet! silentwings 3 PWM high-speed fans and recently downloaded speedfan (recommended by Jayztwocents). I was wondering what % or at what rpm should my fans be at? Another way to interpret is maybe what temps are really good for gaming/idle that way I can mess around with speedfans to get the temps at "this" fan speed. I heard something about MSI afterburner but not too familiar with it. To my knowledge it is able to have the fans run at certain temps? PC Specs: i7 6700k, EVGA 1070 ftw
  11. Thanks. Do you have any complaints about it or is there any static noise? I heard that XLR cables have like static noise or something. How's the quality of the cable?
  12. Hi. I have an Audio Technica at2035 and a focusrite scarlett 2i2 gen.2 as an audio interface. What XLR cable should I get? https://www.amazon.com/GLS-Audio-Patch-Cable-Cord/dp/B00CTWOY36/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&coliid=I18GQCK1HLA23P&colid=PYZ4XGLL5SWR https://www.amazon.com/LyxPro-Balanced-Premium-Microphone-Speakers/dp/B00KWIM4UO/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2J7WEY0HSKS8H&colid=PYZ4XGLL5SWR Don't really want to get this one, and i probably wont, but I've searched that it is the best: https://www.amazon.com/Mogami-Gold-Studio-06-Conductor/dp/B0002E1P2Q/ref=pd_ybh_a_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5A2Q22EA9C8B7ARQQVS0
