  1. I would say this as well but everything else is still snappy, While on my desktop and in chrome utilization never goes above 20%, it is just in games where the slowdown happens.
  2. I built my PC in June of last year with a GTX 960 4 gig and a FX 4350. Back when I started, It performed very well. Now though it appears to have slowed down significantly. the same games (GTA V, ROTR, The Witcher 3, etc.) perform worse with the same graphics settings. When I look at the Afterburner overlay it shows my CPU at or near 100% all the time, however when I go into task manager it shows only the game I am playing as any significant draw. This did not used to happen, so the question is: What would affect my CPU to make it perform worse in the same conditions? 3. Thanks for the info, its what i was thinking as the games that run poorly are CPU intensive.
  4. Is it an issue that this is fairly outdated at this point? I would be fine with replacing my am3+ mobo if it means better value in the long run
  5. I have recently built my PC but have found that I am not achieving the frame rates that I would like (High 1080p 60fps). My specs are an FX 4350, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 960 4GB and 8 gigs of ddr3 1600 ram. What should I upgrade first to achieve better frames and what upgrade path should I take?
  6. thanks for the info. pcie to pcie also solves my problem though so it is fine either way.
  7. My newly purchased PC parts just came and in playing around with them I noticed my wifi antenna and my graphics card could not be installed at the same time. Does anybody have a cable they could reccomend for me to install my PCIe x1 wifi dongle into my regular PCI slot? Parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7kfgTW
  8. How do i find the rebate code for the checkout process? I am very frustrated please help.
  9. Thank you very much, this is a lot of help.
  10. I am trying to buy parts for a pc I want to build. I know that SSDs boot faster and thus I want to buy one for my build. Will I need extra cables or other things if I want this for boot and two HDDs for storage? Parts list link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hpv2K8
