is this over kill for streaming/Encoding ?

If you really need to use the capture card, then yes, try and reinstall to see if it fixes anything. If it doesn't fix anything it's most likely a hardware incompatibility issue.

Just please make make sure you back up all of your important files as reinstalling will wipe everything.

Okay so i think i have an strange software issue.... If i'm using MSI AfterBurner & SpeedFan the Game Capture software does not load... however if i load up the game capture software first then i load the MSI Afterburner the Capture software does not respond and just displays another image of the software.

Are you by any chance on a UEFI install with CSM disabled? I have an HD60 (not the pro internal version) and whenever I have CSM disabled and the USB plugged into my PC, it causes a lot of weird issues. I don't think the capture cards are fully UEFI supported.

if that's not the case, the only other thing I can think of is to do a fresh installation of Windows 10, after backup up, of course.

Hi Celios, I have manage to get windows to boot up "OKAY" however the software will not load ? Lol it's one thing from another..... You think i should reinstall windows Ten ?

  4. Hello all ... Just installed my Brand New Elgato HD60 Pro and once i log into Windows Ten it just freeze the whole system ? can't type and even move the mouse! The MoBo am using is Asus asus maximus ranger Vii ... I've use all 3 PCI-e Slots and its all the same on each of them.. what am i doing wrong ?

IDK about capture cards, I think they just grab the monitor output and record it and then pass it through to the monitor. As long as it isn't stealing cores/threads from your games, it shouldn't impact performance too much. I'd read up on reviews and see how it performs.

P.S. Don't put your email up here, you might get spammed. ;)

Ah shooks just seen that lol Took it from my YT Wall ! oh well lol !!! Again Zando Bob saves the day ^_^ if i could by you a beer or a  "Margarita" i would.

is the elgato hd60 pro all its said to be.

are their other options that do 1080p 60fps recordings with no latency for streaming?

    thanks :D

I'm actually on the market looking to build a streaming pc but with every new bit of hardware the price goes up!  So i might just get the Elgato HD60 Pro and use it in my main gaming Rig for now ! & to answer your question about quality from what i've seen on YouTube it looks GREAT!

You may want a b250 board, as the 150 series may need a BIOS update to work with Kaby Lake, and you'll need a Skylake CPU to do that.

Hey Sup Bro.... The price of this Dual streaming pc is now £602.53 lol  ... I have a question for you :) DO I REALLY need this ? or would i just do fine with the internal Elgato HD60 Pro ?  My Gaming Rig specs are below:

It is a problem with PC builds. You could get this, but that is better and only a little more. If you're going to get that, you might as well spend a little more to upgrade this. And on it goes.

yeah ....  as long its not going to cost me my Liver and left ball bag i'm good!  I've been looking at this MOBO ASUS Intel Lga1151 B150 M Pro Gaming DDR4 Micro-Atx Motherboard should work well with the

    Intel Pentium (G4560) 3.5GHz Processor 3MB L3 Cache 8 GT/s DMI3 (Boxed)

  9. Thanks guys and Girls if any ? lol

so i'll ditch the PSU and get Corsair CP-9020061-UK Builder Series CXM750 ATX/EPS Semi-Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit, 750 W

as for 980ti i think i would be better off getting an 1060 as they are about £214 on amazon.  "

EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Superclocked Gaming 6 GB GDDR5 Memory PCI Express 3 Graphics Card - Black "

    MB and CPU i'll change.

CPU I'll go with Pentium G4650

Can someone suggest a decent Mirco ITX MB for under £70 please !

    Thanks

PSU: Corsair CP-9020098-UK VS Series ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Power Supply Unit, 650 W

MotherBoard: Gigabyte SKT-AM3 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard " Unsure as i only think it has one Fan Header "

    CPU: AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core (3.5/4.1GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 6MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 95W, Retail Boxed)

With a 1070 you should be perfectly fine on 1080p :) get all the high res texture mods and ENB and you should still be running smooth!

I've deiced to use the 64Bit version and see how i get on with that!

  12. 1 minute ago, squirrl said:

On my current save, i pressed continue and it took 19 seconds to load. (I'm using the "Aragorn" computer in my sig and it's installed on the 840 pro.

I used to use ENB when I was on 2560x1440, but since upgrading to a 4K screen, i could only get about 30FPS. Once i disabled that, I get around 50-60FPS at 4K now.

I'm still Gaming at peasant 1080 lol i'd need to either get another 1070 for SLI or save up for an 1080ti then get a 4k screen

  13. Just now, squirrl said:

The original one. The majority of my mods won't work on the special edition (especially skyUI)

Added my mods. I couldn't even fit them all on the screen when i made my 4k monitor portrait...

wow !!!! what was the loading times like ?

I use the normal one but the special edition is 64 bit so its better for modding, there is no diffrence so id use special editions as long as it has all the same mods updated for it,

i've only modded on the normal version so I cant tell you. I never used special edition becase of all my progress in the normal version

yeah I'm in the same spot as i've put like 36hrs into this game and i don't want to start all over again lol... but i think it's time to bit the bullet and start all over again as i know most quest and most of them 36 i was just dicking about!

Yeah start fresh. reduces the chance of any issues. It's up to you if you want to use the special edition or not. I really doesn't look much different but it is more stable. That said the main downside is that the mods are lacking since most of them had to get re-made. There is also no SKSE yet since the current 32bit version is incompatible. That's what exposes a lot of new APIs for modders to write more complex scripts with.

what version are you using ?
