Because SSDs use flash technology, there is a limit on the number of writes the memory cells can take before denying anymore of them. Read is technically unlimited though provided everything else is functional. 

I don't believe that standard audio interfaces allow you to change how your voice sounds to that degree.
 
I think your USB choices sound pretty reasonable.  I just found out myself that even if you get a mixer/audio interface make sure it outputs to the computer with USB. I have a bunch of static/buzzing that I can't get rid of and will probably have to buy different stuff.
