  1. It is. I will put it in my dads and see if it works. I think it may have just kicked the bucket
  2. This happend me 2 years ago. Try under clocking it a tiny bit and then put it back to normal, or update nvidia drivers they normally sort stuff out. Also try a different game kerbal space programme used to do this to me.
  3. Yeah I have re seated it in all the slots and connected the 6 and 8 pin. It powers on the logo lights up and the fans start spinning it doesn't show up in afterburner and nvidia software
  4. So I went to clean my pc today, it is six years old and was going strong. I cleaned it as I have done every 3 months since I built it. I took the gpu out and gave it a shot of compressed air as I noticed the temptetures had risen a bit. I put everything back together and no output to display. The pc still works as I plugged the motherboard output into the monitor and business as usual. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?. If this doesn't work I may give my pc to my dad as I don't have money to fix it and I'm saving for collage.
  5. i was looking at getting a htc vive now that the price is down. i was wondering should i buy a second 970 or sell the 970 and buy a 980ti . i have an i5 4460 8gb ram and a 850w psu . i would be grateful for your advice
