  3. the speakers are connected to the back of the case which is directly to the motherboard and the headphones are connected through my keyboard or through the front of my case which is also to the motherboard
  4. Hmmm, I do have a live gamer hd pcl that I think acts like an audio source, going to disconnect it and reboot and see if that works.
  5. Thanks for the response, I have the Asus z97 Pro, but dont believe they have any programs for this. But Ill check again.
  6. So momentarily Im running sli gtx 970s that I got my hands on, and noticed that only one of the fans are working which is for the first gtx 970 card. I believe I am using the sli cable bridge properly as it lights up and doesn't give me errors. Is their any programs or other way to get it working or even check to see if its working? And both cards are the same: gtx 970 acx 2.0 ftw EVGA
  7. Ok, so in normal computers that are pre built or laptops, when you connect headphones in, its automatically changes so that the sound goes through those and when disconnected it goes through out the speakers. Well I just built my pc and when the speakers and headphones are both plugged in at the same time, the only way for the audio to go through the headphones is if I change it through playback devices. Which is annoying since I switch between the 2 very frequently. Is their a way for the computer to know when to switch to headphones when plugged in?
  8. yup going to try and sell now then, i can probably sell both for 450 cuz i want to sell them fast haha

  12. 14. So I was just reading about crossfire an a article, and somewhere it mentioned where you can use lower end and higher end gpus together if the mobo supports it which mine does. So I was wondering If I would be able to do it with a gtx 660 and 970. Really not in the mood to sell my 660 and dont want it to go to waste, thats why im asking. thanks for any responses.
