  1. It seems YouTube picks what it wants to re-render and show ass VP9. Popular videos or large channels get re-rendered to a higher quality. It seems you an cheat it if you upload in a higher than 1080p resolution, I'll have to try it... Cheers mate
  2. It looks identical to me on YouTube? Here's a screenshot of 50,000,000 on YouTube:
  3. Hello everyone, I've been making YouTube gaming videos for a couple years now and it's really starting to bother me how bad the compression is on my videos. The source media looks fine, the rendered video looks fine but the finished product on YouTube looks terrible. It looks like one big green blurry mess of artefacts. I record at 1080p 60FPS, render at 1080p 60FPS and playback at 1080p 60FPS on a 1080p Monitor It just completely ruins the video. Here are my render settings: Here is the source material: Here is the rendered material: And here it is on YouTube:
  4. Hello everyone, A good friend of mine is currently having an issue when playing Arma 3. Every time he plays he has to put his game settings and controls back to how he wants them as every time he closes the game they don't save. Additional to his settings not saving, his progress in game does not save either. If he tries to edit the notepad file for his settings it won't let him save it unless he runs notepad as administrator. He has an error when he tries to save pictures and such from the internet to places like his picture folder it says 'You don't have permissions to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission' This comes up even though he is the administrator and the only account on the PC. He's on Windows 10 64bit. Thank you.
  5. I have thought about an external capture card, I have an old Elgato HD but it doesn't do 60FPS which is necessary for me. I will try out OBS Studio and see how it goes. Thank you .
  6. Hello everyone, Recently I ran into a problem when trying to record Ghost Recon Wildlands. Being that I have a GTX 1070 I use to used Shadowplay to record but with high detailed or fast moving scenes everything gets very blurry, blocky and full of artifacts and it really looks terrible. Some evidence of my Shadowplayu problem is here: I'm trying to find a new recording software to use, so far I have tried: Fraps: PC performance hit too large OBS: Even for settings that look just look Shadowplay (shite) and turning my game settings down low it still gives me encoding overload, freezes then crashes my game and the recording is really weird. DXTORY: Low quality and wouldn't recognise games. Action!: Yet again low quality. My PC specs are: GTX 1070 8GB I7-6700k 16GB RAM 500GB SSD 4 x 1TB HDD If anyone knows how to fix OBS, as it is the best so far, or knows any better recording programs I would really appreciate a comment! Thank you.
  7. None of these builds incorporate case fans or an aftermarket CPU cooler? Are these not needed? Thank you.
  8. The build will be 600 brittish pounds, and the price does not include windows.
  9. Oh sorry, I completely forgot. He uses nvidia for the software (shadowplay and sharing capabilities and just overall prefers is) He already has windows so it does not need to be included in the build. Thank you.
  10. Hello everyone, I'm in need of someone's help. I've been tasked with creating a gaming PC for my friend for Christmas. The maximum budget is £600, but not over by much. The closer to £600 the better, more than 630 is too much. He prefers Intel and Nvidia so if it could use those then that would be great. Theme and colour is not important. Thank you all so much.
  11. Tried booting in safe mode, it still freezes even when in safe mode.
  12. Prior to asking the question I had reset the oc, so it's still frozen.
  13. I've pulled out that batter on the motherboard. And undid remove the overclock, so it currentlybhas no overclock.
  14. Hello everyone, When I turn on my computer it boots fine and loads onto windows 10. It work for less than a minute before freezing. I can't click or select anything, but the mouse pointer still moves. Things like control+alt+delete don't work. I'm pretty sure this is hardware failure? If so which part. For quite a while the CPU was overclocked even , the cpu is an A8-6600k. Thank you.
  15. I honestly have no idea where I went wrong, but re-installing it taking every precaution (disabling antivirus, running as admin, clearing previous files and temp files) has made it work, I don't know where it went wrong. Thank you so much man, without your help I would a broken pc and a big whole in my pocket.
