  1. ah! okay thats where i was getting confuse so 4 of these sticks should have no issues then also they shouldn't have any issues with a 1st gen ryzen right
  2. yes im quite aware you don't get 3200mhz just by installing it i have to enable XMP i know that
  3. copy the model number use ctrl+f to search page and paste in the model number
  4. mate im buying 2 sets of the 3200mhz im completely replacing the 2400s
  5. the ram i currently have are 2400mhz im upgrading to a set with 3200mhz
  6. setup ryzen 7 1700 asus crosshair VII hero x470 16gb ddr4 g.skill trident im planning on upgrading my ram to 32gb can someone verify if 4 of these sticks will work on my board the support manual isn't clear on it https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01MTDEYHU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1 buying 2 sets of the new ram F4-3200C16D-16GTZR they are G.SKILLS
  7. thank you fasted help i got thats all i needed to know thank you
  8. just purchased the motherboard in the title my question is. Is the 4pin connector required for it to run either my current r7 1700 or a r7 2700x or can i just leave that one empty as from what i hear the 8pin is more than sufficent to power it
  9. i have the same issues but happens very rarely, and i know what the issue is its the power supply which is what im replacing at the end of the month with something from seasonic this only started happening to me 5 months after making a new build with ryzen but using the same power supply i bought back in 2013
  10. either that it might of been the fault of the socket itself on the asrock ab350m not properly clamping the cpu in place or something. regardless i do have plans on upgrading to gen2 ryzen 7 3700x and i'm not cheaping out on a motherboard this time around
  11. or either that the stock cooler had too much preapplied thermal paste and glued it to the cpu which seem to be the case when i finally got the cpu off of it, and if you are curious yes i did apply my own paste to the cpu this time snice i know the preapplied stuff really isn't that good i used mx 4 arctic
  12. no i didn't release the cpu tension arm i simply undone the screws and wiggled it slowly and when it finally came off the cpu came out with it so yeah i didn't release the tension arm
