  1. hahaha, painted these using techsources terrible video before linus's was out. i wanted to, but the cpu loop cost me $600 AUD, and i don't want to lose the look of the reference cooler which i like too much
  2. just thought i'd do a follow up post; i ended up filling it from the empty port next to the outlet by putting the case on its side as suggested by a few of you, worked great! first loop complete and i'm please with the end result thanks for the help guys, appreciate it.
  3. that sounds like the easiest solution, will give it a go once my parts get here. thanks mate.
  4. only the thickest model has those fill ports by the looks of it, I need a 25mm rad unfortunately since there's not enough clearance from my ram in my case... would you happen to know of any others with fill ports that are slim?
  5. 2 front intake, 2 top exhaust through a radiator and 1 rear exhaust.
  6. are you sure about that? i'm pretty sure this is the reservoir he's using: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33665/ek-xres-140-ddc-3-2-pwm-elite-pump-reservoir-combo there's only one port there. i know there's a multiport top you can purchase but it doesn't look like he's using that?
  7. Heya, I'm looking at making a custom loop similar to this in the pictures below, but I can't quite figure out how he's managed to fill it. Anyone have any ideas? Might be important to note that I've never done a loop before so this will be my first attempt at one. Thanks!
  8. and the LED's are installed, that's the final piece for my build until 980ti's get a price drop, will be adding another one eventually. thanks for all the comments
  9. this just annoys me, "white" it says...
  10. the mobo was only bought purely for looks, and the PSU was $240 (over $100 less than retail) so i decided to snap it up while i could. will seem less useless when i 2 way SLI 980ti's thanks! they're in the OP
  11. i did, it's a black plasti-dipped 980ti, sanded off the green colour to get the white led
  12. cheers guys! @Moonzy here's a colour one for you, outside so there's no flashy LED's
  13. heya guys! my first post here, just thought i'd introduce myself with my build. i've been a PC gamer for about 8 years, and i've FINALLY decided to build my own rig. it was certainly a big eye opener, and my goodness it was fun. i went all out, this ended up costing me a little over $3,420 AUD (~$2,600 USD). went for a nice dark, stealthy look with some white accents to "pop" some of the areas. i love it, think it looks really clean, could do with some adjustments but for now i'm overly happy with it. specs: i7 6700k @ 4.6ghz | EVGA SC GTX 980Ti @ 1653mhz + 4005mhz | 16GB (4x4GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666mhz ASUS Maximus VIII Formula ROG | NZXT Kraken X61 | EVGA 1200W P2 | Cablemod E-Series Black256GB Samsung 850 EVO | 1TB + 2TB WD BlacksPhanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX full imgur album here! i plan on adding another 980ti in the future, depending on how long pascal's Ti takes to release, also need some LED strips, anyone recommend any?
