  1. this is really useful info. I am also about try making sleeved cables for a modular PSU but can't find pin-outs for the PSU connectors, and have noticed that they are always the same as the MoBo end connectors. Does anyone know a good place to look?
  2. Thanks for your input, everyone. it sounds as though you "pays your money and takes your pick", then the game is making it work well enough to tell people about it.
  3. I am planning my first WC build. Having seen pictures on-line of finished rigs in a TJ07 that I think look really good, I am thinking of getting one. The TJ07 has a bit of style about it, whereas most other case seem to have all of the style of the boxes they are delivered in! However, it worries me, that in trawling the forums, I haven't found anyone using one or even mentioning it. So you guys clearly know something that I don't, and as I don't want to find out what it is the hard way, please give me your opinion of the TJ07 and which case you would use instead.
  4. Gentlemen, thanks for the information and the invitation. As I have touched on fans, what is the best way to power and control the large number of fans a water cooling PC encourages. One can only plug so many into a MoBo header!
  5. Thanks, that's that one sorted. Am I allowed another question in the same area - what is the received wisdom on mounting radiator fans: suck or blow?
  6. Another beginner I'm afraid, and planning to build a water cooled rig in a TJ07 case with a 480 rad in the base section. I know the rad will fit, if I pick the right one, and am told that it is okay to instal a PSU next to it. But I am concerned that the PSU will block airflow through the base compartment and reduce cooling efficiency. I have seen lots of case pictures with a full length rad so people must be doing it - am I worrying about nothing?
