I will try that see what difference it makes.

If I wait for next gen ryzen my MB might not be compatible with 4th gen, even though AMD touts that all ryzen should be backwards compatible, you never know.

Right now in my system I have a ASUS B450 (B450-F Strix) motherboard, a Ryzen 5 2600 and a MSI RTX 2070 (Gaming Z). I get around 90 FPS in most games (ie. Overwatch, COD MW, No Mans Sky, Etc) and want to get a bit higher, would it be worth it to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 3700X or a 3800X? How much performance difference should I expect or is it even worth the ~$350 investment? My current monitor is a VG279Q which is just 1080p 144hz.

Yeah looking at ebay and comparing to other CPUs I was considering the 5650 is way cheaper thank you for the suggestion.

I am looking for a Xeon CPU for LGA1366 for my new server. I want to know what the best high performance processor is for that socket. The server also did come with 2 X5540s, so should I even consider getting a new pair of CPUs?

Ah it was out of date drivers that I needed to update via Geforce Experience

Can some one help. I used to get 60fps on ultra in FO4 and now its limiting me to only 33fps even on low. I tried to fix it by messing with settings in nvidia control panel but nothing has worked.

With the release of the i9 I am curious if the prices of the other 7th gen processors will drop or stay the same. I think they will drop but only like the i5 or i3. What do you guys think?
-
Maybe not a bottle neck just a minor performance decrease

Oh no I only have one graphics card
