  1. Ahh Deck A or 1 would be your song playing on the left and Deck B or 2 would be your song playing on the right. It wont let you download the driver?
  2. Yes, it may be a driver to be able to run the Midi Fighter with Virtual DJ
  3. Also, I'd suggest from a DJ background to use the left 8 buttons as your Deck A/1 cue points and your right 8 buttons as your Deck B/2 cues. You also will have to time your cues.
  4. Midi Fighter plugged in and lit up?
  5. Ahh okay! So now you would go to preferences/settings then go to the midi tab, plug in your Midi Fighter then map out what you want it to do
  6. Hmm... Okay so like... What DJ software do you use?
  7. Well depending on your software your keys can be utilized for almost any function! I use keyboard shortcuts in Ableton Live day long lmao
  8. But MIDI mapping can be done in almost any DAW or DJ software the Midi Fighter probably comes with a program that is confusing because it will only map to the parameters of what you set it to. Like... A pre-determined idea of what it can do inside an outside program of the programming software.
  9. You could do that but you would have to find the third party applications or something inside your DJ software that allows you to make certain keys act as a certain function within the program.
  10. When it comes to keyboard I am not 100% sure but you might be at a loss since most keys are used to function something within your software.
  11. Ahh! Then what your looking for is to setup your midi fighter to be used as Hot Cues within a DJ software. I would suggest Virtual DJ because they allow you to setup MIDI easily compared to other DJ softwares.
  12. Ahh so your wanting whats known as "Hot Cues" but on top of that you want whats called a "Sampler" or "looper" both have two different functions that if you wanted to program yourself with a keyboard it would take a third-party application outside of your DJ software to do. Best way would probably be to just get a cheap DJ controller for your gig and either Serato DJ Intro or a version of Virtual DJ
  13. Hmm... Do you have any links to what your referring to? I've been DJ-ing and producing for nine years and have came across multiple issues and I'll try my best to help you man!
  14. Okay so yes it originally came with Win 8.1 then when it booted after refresh it went to basic Win 8.0 I could tell my drivers are gone by originally my network and audio when I bought the comp had drivers then when it booted today both had red X's, when clicking they both indicated the drivers were missing but I couldn't connect to the internet for them to even be downloaded then I rebooted and the network driver must have downloaded itself (running Ethernet instead for better connection) so the Ethernet must have triggered something to make the driver install itself even though I unplugged it and plugged it back in the first time it booted as "Asus" As far as my files go, everything I DL'd the last two days was completely gone even within program files on the HDD. Yes, I removed the GPU when the power was off.
  15. Dude if this works... Your the shit!! <3
  16. I lost my files, it booted as an Asus X series laptop but it's a Lenovo H50-55 desktop... So I am confused... What do I do to get my drivers back? Especially since it doesn't pick up the R7 integrated graphics card
  17. Depends on the live application you find most comfortable to be honest but usually DAW's have some latency with midi controllers. I know in Ableton Live (my preferred production software) any use of midi controllers latency can be brought down by the use of either having a good internal sound card or the use of an audio interface. Depends on the usage of what you want to achieve.
  18. Would you be using a DAW or DJ software?
  19. I went back to Micro Center and exchanged the 960 for a EVGA GTX 950 short board. Tried it out to see if it fit when I got home and it seemed to fit. I pulled it back out then put everything back together to plug the PC back in. When the computer finally booted it brought me to a screen with "preparing repair" Then I chose to refresh to not lose my files then the computer booted as an Asus and most of my drivers including the network driver are gone. What in the name of spider pig do I do?!? Yes I am completely serious as I am new to all of this (usually more a software savvy guy) but trying to keep a positive mindset since I literally just bought this PC 2 days ago

  21. Now my issue has gone from bad to worse... I went back to Micro Center and exchanged the 960 for a EVGA GTX 950 short board. Tried it out to see if it fit when I got home and it seemed to fit. I pulled it back out then put everything back together to plug the PC back in.
