  1. Well damn. I have a 60hz monitor atm. I suppose I should hold off on the 1440p monitor until I build a new rig.
  2. That's awesome. I would love to get a RTX 2070, but I ruled that out even used. My wife and I already agreed on a budget of 350$ which is why I was looking into the RTX 2060. However, getting a cheaper card would obviously make her happier about the whole thing which is why I am now looking into the 1660ti.
  3. yeah for now. I was hoping to get a 1440p monitor this next month. I'm needing to get a gpu replacement right now because mine died.
  4. So if im looking to get into 1440p I should upgrade cpu too?
  5. I'm looking to replace my now dead gtx 960(rip) and I was looking at the rtx 2060. However, I'm still using a core i7 4790k. Would this cause a bottleneck? Should I get a 1660ti instead?
  6. I think I might get this dell instead.. the bezels are thinner.. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-D2719HGF-Response-Speakers-FreeSync/dp/B07J4SXNQ5/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2CWNPG81RYOXI&keywords=pc+monitors+144hz&qid=1550759802&s=electronics&sprefix=pc+monitors+1%2Celectronics%2C167&sr=1-3
  7. oh yeah huh; I didn't realize it was curved. I suppose that dell you linked would be good. That Acer has bad reviews
  8. So I should go for 144hz instead? I was told this 24" Sceptre is decent. https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-C248B-144R-24-Inch-FreeSyncTM-DisplayPort/dp/B07GG8RVXP/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1ZLA07C877SD5&keywords=144hz+monitor&qid=1550755411&s=gateway&sprefix=144%2Caps%2C178&sr=8-5
  9. I have 200$ to spend on a new monitor and I'm looking for suggestions. I'm currently interested in this curved 32" samsung monitor on sale for 189.99$. Is that a good deal or should I get something else?
  10. I need to update my bios. I have a msi gaming 5 motherboard. I am confused because on the website the version of the bios goes from 1.9 to 1.a, 1.b and so on. My question is, exactly which bios do I need to download?
  11. I am looking for a gtx 970 and I've found a ZOTAC model but I've never really heard of this brand before. Is it a good brand or should I just buy the EVGA model? They only real difference that I can see between them is that the ZOTAC gtx 970 is 20$ less.
  12. Well to put this to rest I'm going to buy a new one. EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR
  13. okay thank you all
  14. It's an EVGA 100-W1-500-KR 80+ cert.
  15. I want to complete my pc upgrade with a gtx 970, but I am unsure if my 500w power supply will be enough. I plan on overclocking after I get better cooling. Current Specs: Core i7 4790k 16 GB of DDR3 GTX 760 500w power supply Will my power supply be adquate or do I need something better? If I do need something better may I have some suggestions
