  1. I will keep this as short as I can. I have overclocked my CPU, and I can run my Intel 8700K stable @4.6mhz – 1.21v The problem is that my Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 runs it all the time at 1.21v even if it is idle. 1- What should I set these values so that the cpu runs at a dynamic voltage (low voltage when idle), and the max it reaches is 1.21v Cpu Vcore: Auto or Normal Dynamic Vcore (DVID): ?? I didn't find any reliable source to explain how the math works with these two values. 2- Should I change anything else for the dynamic voltage? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the reply. It is like a jet when it is used to the maximum. By the way, it is from EVGA.
  3. Hello, My friend has a 3090, and a 750 watt PSU. Under full load, his card runs at 68c, and fans spin about 65%, (which is not high temps), but it is a bit noisy. I have the same 3090, but I have not tested it yet. My two questions: 1- Under full load, assuming we can even get the card cooler, and less fan spins, will it still have more noise compared when it's not under full load regardless of the temps? Do GPUs make noise under full load, regardless of the temps? 2- Could his 750 watt PSU is hitting a heavy load and therefore also making more noise compared when it is not under full load? Do PSUs make noise under full load? Thanks
  4. Thank you all for the replies. As have been said here, I will make things more simple, and install the new PSU as soon as I can.
  5. Hello, I have bought EVGA RTX 3090 and it needs 750 watt PSU, and my current PSU is only 550 watt. I have bought a 1000 watt PSU, and I will install it later when I have the time. My question: can I leave all my working PC as it is (for now) with its 550 watt, and plug the 3090 in the PCI express slot, and give it 3x8pin power from the 1000 watt PSU that is not installed yet in the pc? Meaning I will have 550 watt psu for all the pc except the 3090, and the 3090 will take its power from a completely separate PSU. If yes, is there any thing I should do before I connect it? Thanks
  6. I found this picture online, but it describes my situation. In fact, in this picture, there is a room for putting a cartoon between them, I don’t.
  7. I have the motherboard z370 aorus gaming 7 which has 3 PCI Express slots (4x,8x,16x), the cpu intel 8700k, and the cooler Noctua NH-D15. My current graphic card is installed on the PCI-16x and already touching with the cooler while its height is only 4cm (1.57 inch). I want to buy the RTX 3080 but I cannot find any version that its height is equal or less than 4cm (1.57 inch), so I have to put it on a different slot. In this video, it nearly affects the performance only by 1% in GTX1080 (PCI Express 8x vs 16x). My question: How much performance will I lose by installing the RTX 3080 on the PCI-8x playing on 1440P? Thanks
  8. Hello, My Acer XB270HU 27 inch 1440p 144hz suddenly died after 4 years. Since I liked this monitor, I wanted to buy another one, however, I saw that there is a 4K monitor from acer XV273K Pbmiipphzx Will going from XB270HU to XV273K worth it or the 4k one is not as good as the 2k one? Edit: any alternatives should be g-sync, 27 inch, at least 120hz Thanks
  9. Thanks for the reply. I will try at least one FLAC album and Spotify as soon as I chose the headset, then I move on from that point. Just to be honest, I tried FLAC once and didn't hear any difference from mp3, but I used my regular headphones at that time.
  10. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. I like my revolver over my Logitech g pro x in music, but I needed the new headset for the mic. 1- Let's say money is not an issue at all, would you recommend HD58X, HD650 (since you prefer it over the revolver), HD660s. 2- Do you have any recommendations for an equalizer application. 3- I will buy the headset first, then if I am not satisfiedz I will open a new subject for a DAC, amplifier, sound card. Thanks again for the help.
  11. Thanks for the reply. I will definitely buy at least one album as FLAC to see if it worths it.
  12. I am using my gaming headsets for listening to my music. I have Hyperx revolver and Logitech G pro X. I want to buy a headset specifically to enjoy music, and I will not use it for anything else like gaming or movies. I will be using my pc that has the motherboard GIGABYTE z370 Gaming 7, and I will use YouTube for the music unless paying for any service that you recommend may make a difference in my experience. I have a budget of 500$ for the headset itself. 1- I am thinking of Sennheiser 660s because of its good reviews, or do you have another recommendations? 2- What DACs or amplifiers or sound cards (budget of 200$) should I buy so that I can maximize my experience with my motherboard? 3- Is there really a great difference in the experience when comparing my gaming headsets to headsets like Sennheiser 660s when it comes to music? 4- Do you have any other tips or advices since I have never used any headsets other than gaming headsets. Thanks Thanks
  13. Thanks for the reply. Battery and weight are not an issue for me as long as I get a huge cpu performance.
